Just like its predecessor, the Turbosmart SP Supersonic BOV drops right into place of the factory eBOV and comes with everything you need to get it up and running on your truck, all without throwing a CEL. The Supersonic BOV is built out of high-quality materials and is less prone to leakage while handling much higher boost pressures than the stock eBOV, making it perfect for high-powered F150 builds.

Billet Aluminum Construction with Drop-in Design

Turbosmart carefully designed this version of the Supersonic BOV to fit on both 2.7L and 3.5L EcoBoost F150s, while also fitting with aftermarket intercoolers. The SP Supersonic Kit features a 90° mounting adapter for installing into your truck's intercooler, which allows the BOV to clear your truck's intercooler tubing, even when the BOV is installed on thicker aftermarket intercoolers. The new fitting also allows it proper clearance on 2015-2020 F150 2.7L EcoBoost models and 2017-2020 Raptors fitted with a 3.5L HO EcoBoost. Each BOV and fitting is made out of CNC machined billet aluminum, which gives it greater strength and durability over the factory plastic eBOV. Each kit comes with a drop-in boost reference adapter, resistor kit to prevent a CEL, installation hardware, and instructions.

2018 f-150 Raptor

This is a solid product, well built, a lot of consideration went into this product. The kit is complete, it includes everything you will need. Installation time is about 2.5 hours. It is a straight forward installation. The only area of concern is the connection on the resistors do not cut through the wire insulation when you just clip it on to the stock blow-off valve wire connector. my engine light came on after the second start. I had to cut off the wire connector on the resistor and solder it to the factory wire, this worked perfect, no cell.

2018 Raptor

Everything about this product is great. Good quality machining, install video is totally the way to go, as it's easy to follow. Stage3 was excellent in getting me the product fast and undamaged. Now, the bad... yes, there is a bad side effect..annoying noise. They replace a hard plastic line and make you cut off factory one. Now the fancy truck sounds like it has a sprinkler under the hood. Little embarrassing when driving an expensive truck, and at stop lights people are looking for the sprinkler.. There is a solenoid connected to the hose you replace that has a pulsing to it, and it echos outside the vehicle. Just wish I was told this before I went cutting off a factory molded hose. I would've either held off and tried to make a fix myself or waited for them. Or, maybe bought a different product all together. Their tech is nice about it when you call stating that they are aware of it and if there is a fix, we will let you know and help source the parts to fix. For a 300+ dollar product for a 75K + truck, it should not be sold with out disclosing this little tidbit. For most probably wouldn't care, but some will leave a little feedback like this to show that not entirely happy with it. Still want to give 4 stars as everything else about it seems good. Hopefully will have a remedy sooner that later.

2013 f150

Hopefully they realize that you need a different vamp system connection for the 13-14 f150s. I ha e searched other places and they sell it this way and then make you buy another part.

2020 Raptor

Product works as advertised but as another review stated, the vacuum line that you have to replace with their hose is crap causing a ticking noise which is the hose collapsing due to such a high pressure. The only fix is to buy the full race throttle body spacer with boost ports to avoid the noise. Turbo smart needs to do a better job at putting out this type of quality for that price. Sitting at a stoplight in a 2020 raptor that sounds like it has a nasty tick is embarrassing.

2019 F150

The exhaust valve was stuck shut and would not dump pressure. Had to break free with a screwdriver. So two stars for manufacture not doing a function test on product.

2018 Ford Raptor

Absolutely amazing sound. High quality product, although my check engine light came on and I had a mechanic put it in... it still is an amazing add-on to the Raptor. Still trying to figure out how to clear the check engine light though.

2013 F-150 XLT 3.5L EcoBoost

I’ve had this unit installed around a month now. All seems well. No CEL. The only issue I had was fitment. I replaced the OEM CAC with a Mishimoto. While the OEM Recirc assembly fit direct into the Mishimoto this did not. I ended up having to route the channels with my Dremel to make them longer and wider. Not really TS fault, but if the OEM assembly fit...then this should have. Other issue was lack of clear install instructions. There are videos, but they don’t cover every aspect. All in all...a good product and performs as advertised.

2015 F150 2.7 Ecoboost

Nice product, very high quality. Install was very straight forward, and didn't have issues with the included resistor. Had a hard time finding a place to tie up the harness neatly, I think at some point I'll redo it and solder the resistor directly into the harness up more in the engine bay. Sound isn't as loud as I had hoped, but it does sound good. I've got a quiet full 3 inch straight through exhaust and he blow off valve is very noticeable in sport mode. Data logging did show a **slight** increase in boost in the higher boost spots, but my old valve was probably leaking at those points. Overall would recommend!

2019 Raptor

Awesome sound. Makes those pesky bicyclers about piss themselves when I floor it next to them riding in the middle of the road!! Easy to install. The video is step by step. So easy a cave man can do it. The wire delete was a little different but in my opinion made it easier. Thanks STAGE 3.

2016 F150 3.5L ecoboost

Product does what is advertised. Video is good however my 2016 F150 XLT 3.5L ecoboost top of the engine is not set up like the video shows at all. Manufacturer website is useless as well. No support on weekends from Turbosmart or Stage3 so left to the Internet to find out how to tie in vacuum line to EVAP. Ended up figuring out that one of the random pieces that comes with the kit that are not pictured at all or mentioned in the video goes between the intake manifold and the MAP sensor. Install would have taken far less time if had known ahead of time about this issue.

2016 3.5 ecoboost

Not a bad install and the product is great so far. However, 4 stars for not having specific vehicle instructions. One set of instructions you will find that the 2015-2016 need the spacer in top of sensor. 2017 + show the reinforced vacuum line being used with a different connector needed. Each instructions that you find are different versions of the SP Turbo Smart BOV. .....all confusion could be cleared up with vehicle specific instructions. Also, no information on spring adjustment (harder to softer) where do you set it? No one seems to know.
