A Quick way to an RTT Setup on your Pickup

One of the issues with trying to run a rooftop tent on your average pickup truck it that they don't have the real estate to actually mount up a tent on the roof and an aftermarket rack is required to run an RTT on the bed. One of the quickest and least intrusive ways to get an RTT going on your bed is with a universal, clamp-in bed rack kit. To get a Freespirit M60 Rooftop Tent up and running on our 2017 F250 Project Truck, we grabbed a Thule 500XT Rack Kit. The Thule 500XT Xsporter easily drops into the bed and has an adjustable height so that you can place your tent exactly where you need it.
