Stage 3 Motorsports 2019 F150 King of the Desert Build
The wide-open deserts around Phoenix were calling to us, so it was time to get back to our roots with an off-road F150 build that could conquer the sprawling sands and cacti fields. Meet our 2019 F150 3.5L EcoBoost King of the Desert Project Truck. Equipped with powerful King Suspension, potent lighting upgrades, and all the accessories we need to make this truck at home both on the pavement and out in the desert wastelands. With a stylish Abyss Grey paint job, awesome lights, and slick wheels, our King of the Desert Truck also looks the part and turns heads wherever it may roam. No matter how good your suspension and lighting happen to be, if your truck can't keep your gear safe or isn't easy to live with, there's just not much point to having a truck at all. That's why we grabbed a few essential accessories to greatly improve our King of Desert project's utility and ergonomics! MORE INFO ON OUR ACCESSORIES The desert after the sun goes down is one of the darkest places on the planet. To get the most out of our late-night trail riding and after-dark off-road adventures, we needed some serious lighting upgrades for our King of the Desert Project Truck. We added both stylish street-legal lighting and powerful off-road LED lights so that our King-equipped truck could dominate off-road after the sun goes down! MORE INFO ON OUR LIGHTING UPGRADES A true desert-running F150 needs some serious suspension upgrades paired with wheels and tires that can handle both high speeds and the brutal terrain that surrounds the Phoenix area. The centerpiece of our King of the Desert Build were 2.5 King Coilovers and 2.5 King Rear Shocks that we paired up with Toyo Hybrid-Terrain Tires and aggressive fifteen52 Traverse HD wheels! MORE INFO ON OUR SUSPENSION, WHEELS, & TIRESWe didn't build our King of the Desert Truck to just sit around. We put its litany of parts to the test out in the desert wastelands of Arizona, and pushed this truck to the limits of its performance. The good news is that we took plenty of photos and video to prove it! PHOTOS & VIDEOS OF OUR BUILD
