The Tacomas that came equipped with the optional TRD package may have some off-road pedigree on their side, but even they can use a few aftermarket upgrades to operate at their very best both on and off-road. Our 2018 Tacoma TRD project truck needed a little extra of just about everything to make it more capable and perform at its very best no matter where we took it.
While the Tacoma TRDs may be perfectly fine mid-size trucks, there's plenty of aftermarket creature comforts you can add to make your awesome off-road Tacoma easier to live with. Our own 2018 Tacoma TRD received a new tonneau cover and extra storage for all of our gear! MORE INFO ON OUR ACCESSORIES
OEM headlights and fog lights alone aren't going to be enough when you and your TRD Tacoma head off the beaten path after dark. Our own 2018 Tacoma TRD ended up with an off-road light bar in a hidden mount, as well as upgraded fog lights to give our Tacoma excellent output for its late-night, off-road adventures. Despite the TRD Tacomas having some off-road cred, even they need a suspension improvement and more lift to squeeze on larger wheel and tire combinations. Our 2018 Tacoma TRD got a full set of Eibach struts, shocks, and springs along with some larger BFG KO2 All-Terrain tires to help make our Tacoma a go-anywhere, do-everything truck!
