Stage 3 Motorsports 2014 F150 3.5L Tremor Overland Project Truck

As much as we love a good street truck build, this 4WD 2014 Tremor provided us a solid opportunity to do something a little more unique. With 4.10 gears, factory eLocker, and a short 126" wheelbase, this Ruby Red Tremor made a perfect platform to build a solid Overland Truck. We went out of our way to transform this street-wise Tremor into a one-stop adventure rig that can take us just about anywhere and serve as its own campsite once we reach our destination.

This 2014 F150 wouldn't be a true overland build without the addition of a roof top tent, full size spare, and some clever storage upgrades, so that's exactly what we knocked out first! A Freespirit Recreation M60 tent mounted to RCI's bed rack system provided the sleeping quarters while the Wilco HitchGate, DU-HA storage case and AMP step offered some much needed utility and cargo space. Our Tremor came with HID headlights from factory, so light output was decent right out of the box. That being said, we were still gonna need more light off road. We swapped in a new pair of Morimoto XB LED fog lights as well as a set of three Baja Designs LP9's to really crank up the visibility on dark forest roads and desert trails. When we picked up our F150 it was sitting on factory suspension with a 2.5" spacer kit and Raptor wheels. The look wasn't bad, but it was a strong case of form over function. We needed function, so the stock suspension was pulled off and a fresh set of Icon coilovers, rear shocks, BDS control arms, 34" BFG KO2 tires and 17" Method NV wheels went on. Check it out! We put a lot of hard work into our F150 overland build and we have every intention of using it to its full potential. We've already had this truck out on a couple small camping trips and we also took it up to rip around the woods in northern Arizona.
