This step can handle small bumps that would usually dent your bumper and easily installs into your F150's 2" hitch receiver and even serves as a secondary step for getting into your F150's bed. We even threw it on our 2015 F150 2.7L EcoBoost Project Truck. Not that we need it, since we don't run into things...usually.
