Here at Stage 3 Motorsports, we definitely know a thing or two about F150's. For the hunting company First Lite, were going to be building out a 4WD 2020 F150 XLT 3.L ecoboost into a solid hunting rig. This truck will have more than enough power to do some towing/hauling during any season, while also being dependable on the highway. We believe this is just the right truck to add utility and start building an awesome hunting rig for First Lite. As far as parts go, we'll be adding some Bilstein coilovers and rear shocks, wheels from KMC, a new set of Falken tires, a Ranch Hand bumper, even a Decked system for the bed, and some other neat goods that will really build out the utility and make a functioning, daily-drivable hunting rig! We'll keep you updated on this build before we hand it over to First Lite! We�re kicking off phase one of our First Lite 2020 F150 Hunting Rig Build with a couple upgrades that�ll set this truck in the right direction to become a fully capable hunting rig and daily driver. Today we�re focusing on suspension, wheels, and tires. For suspension, we went ahead and installed a set of Bilstein B8 8112 Front Coilovers and Bilstein 8100 Rear Shocks. Bilstein�s 2015-2020 F150 8112 coilovers feature remote reservoirs for additional oil capacity and the ability to add up to 2.5� of lift which makes them the perfect solution for a do-it-all build that needs to be capable on the street while still tackling aggressive trails with ease. The Bilstein 8100 rear shocks are also designed to take a beating with dual bypass tubes that are independently adjustable for compression and rebound. This allows you to perfectly dial in your F150's ride for various types of off-road terrain or accommodate additional weight in the bed. The tires we chose for this rig are LT285/75R17 Falken Wild Peak All-Terrain A/T3Ws . Falken's Wild Peak A/T3W tires are one of the best options for combining a quiet and smooth ride on the highway with serious traction on rocks, mud, sand, or anything else you might get your truck into. Lastly, we bolted on some new 17x9� KMC Chase wheels with a satin black finish, modern-looking 8 spoke design and aggressively styled trim ring to complete the look. For phase 2 of our First Lite 2020 F150 Hunting Rig Build we're bolting on a new front bumper and a full bed drawer system. For convenient storage and better organization we've chosen the 2015-2021 F150 and Raptor 5.5Ft bed DECKED Bed Storage System. This kit is designed to be a perfect fit for the F150�s bed, and it features two large sliding drawers that provide countless storage and organization options. Whether you�re hauling camping essentials, recovery equipment or hunting gear, the Decked drawers are built to keep it all stowed neatly and safely away from the elements. Another benefit of this system is the incredibly durable top deck that�s capable of supporting up to 2,000lbs. so you can still use your truck bed the way it was meant to be used. As for the bumper we're going with the 2018-2020 F150 Ranch Hand Midnight Series Grille Guard Front Bumper. The Ranch Hand Midnight Series F-150 bumper provides top tier front-end protection both on the trail and on the job site while still utilizing a low-profile design that hugs the F150's body lines and grille. Ranch Hand also took the time to design provisions for factory equipment such as parking sensors, adaptive cruise, and fog lights so any F-150 trim level can run this bumper without sacrificing important features.
