If you're looking for a way to fine tune your modified 2015-2020 Mustang in order to give your IRS (Independent Rear Suspension) some extra support, reinforcing the cradle with a set of upgraded bushings is a great way to go. BMR came up with a great solution with this impressive and complete Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit. With these high-performance components you'll be able to nearly eliminate cradle bushing deflection, which is one of the biggest causes of wheel-hop with most Mustangs. These billet aluminum upper bushing lockout rings capture the front and rear inner bushing sleeves and the outer lip of the bushing cup on the front cradle. The lower front bushing locating washers capture the bottom portion of the bushings inner sleeves. Together, this helps eliminate any unwanted movement in order to give you a more tight and controlled ride. Designed specifically for hard-driven street and track Mustangs, this kit helps address wheelhop, bushing deflection and cradle movement better than most products out there.

CNC-Machined Bushings With Race-Quality Construction

Built from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, stainless steel, and heavy-duty 1 5/8-inch DOM steel tubing, BMRs Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit is designed to nearly eliminate cradle bushing deflection, which is one of the biggest causes of wheelhop. The OEM rubber bushings are a soft material that can have air pockets and voids which can make handling performance more unpredictable than it needs to be. BMR's bushings are made stiffer and much more resistant to deflection under load than stock. During their testing, BMR found an 80%-90% reduction in fore/aft and lateral cradle bushing deflection. Launching their test vehicle at over 7,000 RPMs on drag radials, BMR saw about an 80% reduction in bushing deflection.
