The 2021-2022 Raptors are landing in force, and I've personally seen more than a few zipping around the Phoenix area as of late. However, the aftermarket has struggled to keep up, and I can't remember a time where such little amount of parts are available for a new truck. Still, there is at least some parts and accessories for 2021-2022 Raptors available to order right now (as of 4-22-2022, anyway), and with a decent amount of cross-fitment between the standard 2021-2022 F150s, there's at least enough of a selection to get your tough, custom 2021-2022 Raptor build off the ground and give your Raptor improved looks, utility, lighting, interior protection, and power. Hopefully as supply and production issues ease, we'll start seeing some more awesome Raptor parts and accessories get released, but in the mean time, here's our Top must-do upgrades for the 2021-2022 Raptors that are actually available to order as of right now.

Before You Buy: Best Steering Stabilizers For 2017-2022 Super Dutys
Posted by Corey Decker on 4/18/2022 to
Before you Buy
One of the best things you can do for the exterior of your 2017-2022 F250 or F350 Super Duty is to throw on some larger tires. The downside to this is larger tires can put a strain on your Super Duty's steering components since they have to work harder to compensate for the heavier tires. Luckily, the easy way around that is to install a new steering stabilizer or dual steering stabilizer kit. The right steering stabilizer can help recover some of the handling/control you might have lost due to an aftermarket lift and a larger wheel/tire setup in addition to preventing the dreaded "death wobble". The way steering stabilizers accomplish this is by dampening unwanted steering component movement that sometimes happens at higher speeds or off-roading. That being said there are a lot of really great steering stabilizers in the marketplace today, but which one is the best? Best is a very subjective term depending on who you are talking to so we will split it up by looking at best budget, best bang-for-your-buck, and best overall.

Before You Buy: Best 2.5" Leveling Kits For 2020-2022 Super Dutys
Posted by Corey Decker on 4/9/2022 to
Before you Buy
The 2020-2022 F250 or F350 Super Duty is a highly capable truck, however with the stock setup they come with a nasty front end rake that not only looks bad but also makes it impossible to add larger off-road tires due to low tire clearance. These leveling kits get rid of that front end rake by lifting the front end by using either spacers or larger coil springs and then makes sure that the Super Duty is level by pairing those with either a matching set of spacers for the rear or a new set of rear blocks that help add enough height to match the front. That being said, when it comes to figuring out what leveling kit is the "best" that can be a bit difficult sometimes because people are different and they have different plans for their Super Duty builds. So it's probably a good idea to separate "best" into three different sections; best budget, best bang-for-your-buck, and of course best overall.

Heading out on the trail and actually getting your rig dirty can be intimidating, and that goes for both heavily-built trucks that you may have a ton of money effort poured into or a bone-stock truck that can barely handle a trip to the mall. However, getting left out of your buddies' conversations about their last trail ride, limited slip vs eLockers, how much you should air down, etc. is never fun - despite the fact you don't know what any of that means. That's why Stage 3 has developed our revolutionary Bucket o' Mud Off-Road Look Application System. Our Bucket o' Mud gives your truck or SUV all the appearance that it just went through a tough trail ride or off-road adventure without you actually needing to go off-road. Once applied, you can stand with your friends, smile and nod, while pretending to know what they're talking about with your muddy truck as positive proof. The Bucket o' Mud comes with a 5-gallon bucket and a gallon of Arizona dirt. All you need to do is add water and apply it to your vehicle. Before you Buy: F150 Tow Hook Upgrades!
Posted by Jason Locke on 3/6/2022 to
The stock tow hooks on your F150 are fine...they're fine. They do what they were designed to do, which is to serve as a pretty basic attachment point for general pulling and recovery needs, but F150s that are heading out on the trail may need something a little more handy than the factory tow hooks. The good news is that there's more than a few F150 tow hook upgrades that give your truck more capability and utility so that you can get you or your buddies out of trouble out in the wilderness. And heck, if all else fails, you can grab an aftermarket front bumper that gives you even more recovery capability, but before we get there, there's now some budget-friendly tow hook options that can see your F150 build through some unhappy bad times in the dirt or on the street in practically no time at all.
2005-2022 Tacoma Fox Elite 2.5 vs. Fox Factory Performance Series
Posted by Nick Kovar on 3/5/2022 to
When it comes time to swap out your Tacoma's suspension, you're going want to invest in a high-quality upgrade for long-lasting functionality and improved performance. FOX is one of the leading manufacturer's in the aftermarket suspension industry, which is why we're going to be reviewing the new FOX 2.5 Elite Series Coilovers and how they stack up against the older 2.5 Factory Performance Series Coilovers. FOX has 2 main performance coilover options for the 2005-2022 Tacoma, and it can be a bit confusing to navigate the similarities and differences between the two. We're here to hopefully eliminate some of that confusion so you can walk away with a high-quality Coilover Upgrade for your 2005-2022 Tacoma.
Before You Buy: Best Super Duty Trailer Brake Controllers

Before you Buy
The weather is starting to change and you may be looking to start planning some summer trips that involve you, your family, your camper, and your Super Duty. Luckily, Super Duty Trailer Brake Controllers are fairly universal so you do not have to hunt and peck to try and find the right controller for your specific year of Super Duty. In other words, it does not matter if you have a 2011-2016 F250 or F350, a 2017-2019 F250 or F350, or even a brand new 2020-2022 F250 or F350 there is a Trailer Brake Controller that can work for you. If you are looking to haul a big camper or maybe even a boat, a trailer brake controller is a must-get when it comes to safe towing. The reason is that it truly helps you come to a safe stop and some even help you monitor the status of your trailer's braking system. So what is the best on the market? Best itself is very subjective so we will just separate it by best budget, best bang-for-your-back, and of course best overall meaning most available features.

As part of the build plan for your 2017-2022 F250 or F350 Super Duty you may be planning to upgrade the bumpers, add some new LEDs, and of course add a lift kit it while throwing some large tires with aggressive treads on it. This is an awesome plan but something that ends up overlooked sometimes is also ensuring you can safely enter your Super Duty at it's new height when you lift it. The right set of side steps can make getting in easier and compliment the look of your build overall. Though we all know from sports arguments, food arguments, and listening to other people's unasked for advice, best is pretty subjective. So let's break it down a little bit further and talk about the best budget side steps, best bang-for-your-buck steps, and of course best overall side steps.
In Depth Review: Our Thoughts on the New 2022 Bronco Raptor!
Posted by Jason Locke on 2/7/2022 to
In-Depth Review
Our Dear Ford Overlords have officially announced the 2022 Bronco Raptor, which is nothing but a good thing, though we're dubious of how that "2022" will work out at this juncture. Regardless, it's great to see that Ford is really dedicated to the Bronco platform and are going for FCA's Jeep jugular. The 2022 Bronco looks great, has a ton of features, comes standard with a beefy suspension, and has an even bigger EcoBoost V6 than the current Bronco lineup. That being said, there were some things that we didn't like, and I'm going to be a little more Debbie Downer than our dear A-List YouTube celebrity Noah in the video after the jump. While I personally think it's going to be a fine truck (especially for folks that don't like to modify their vehicles), I'm just not sure about the cost/benefit of the Bronco Raptor with how much the aftermarket has already stepped up to do a lot of what Ford did on the Bronco Raptor (and often better) at a price point devoid of dealership markups. See the video after the jump, as well as my unwanted opinions.

Before you Buy
An easy, cheap, and practical upgrade to 2020-2022 F250 or F350 Super Dutys is to add some off-road lights. The thing about adding these lights is that there are a few places you can throw them on your Super Duty. Each of these locations serve a different purpose and offers their own unique mounts. These locations are Fog Light Mounts, A-Pillar Mounts, Bumper Mounts, and Rear Mounts. Adding some LED Lights on the proper mount makes installation so much easier and also makes off-roading that much safer because it greatly increases your overall visibility to make it easier to avoid previously unseen obstacles. Adding the right set of lights also makes some tasks ten times easier at night such as attaching the trailer, tailgating, setting up camp, or anything that needs to be done after hours on the job site. Let's take a deeper dive into the different off-road light mounting options that we have available here at Stage 3 Motorsports.
2021 F150 PowerBoost on a 2.3" Leveling Kit and 34" Tires
Posted by Jason Locke on 1/28/2022 to
In-Depth Review
With the immense capabilities and power of the 2021 F150 PowerBoost models, it doesn't take much to turn these trucks into adventure-ready rigs. Even a basic leveling kit and decent set of tires goes a long way to making the 2021-2022 F150s looking great in general, but there is something definitely special about a leveled F150 PowerBoost. Our own 2021 F150 PowerBoost truck received one of our 2021-2022 F150 2.3" Spacer Leveling Kit that retains the factory front coilover assemblies to save some cash. With that extra ride height to play with, we were able to fit on a 34" tire in the form of an LT295/60R20 Nitto Recon Grapple A/T Tire that's wrapped around a 20x9" Fuel Rebel wheel with a matte black finish and 20mm offset. The combination leaves a near-stock ride (with the tires at sub 40psi pressures), all while giving our leveled PowerBoost a great look that's clean and mean.

Before You Buy: Safe Towing Products For Your 2017-2022 Super Duty

This early in the year you may be looking ahead to start planning some family vacations in the spring or summer that would involve you and your 2017-2022 F250 or F350 Super Dutys towing a trailer. If that's true then taking that extra time to ensure that you are towing your boat, heavy toy hauler, or 5th Wheel safely can save a lot of time, money, and heartache in the long run. Making sure you are towing safely does not have to take a lot of time away from the journey if you take a little bit of time to make sure the Super Duty or truck you are using is properly prepped. A few different products that can be looked at to help this would be hitches, air springs, airbags, and upgraded tuning. Even if you only ended up getting something from one of these areas your chances of a safer journey increase tremendously.
