The cover itself is made out of durable, interlocking aluminum panels that almost totally prevents break ins and locks with a latch near the tailgate for additional security. The panels come standard with a black powder coat finish for a great look and protection against corrosion and abrasions. The tonneau's storage canister is extremely compact and doesn't take up a ton of room under the tonneau cover. The electric motor is built into the storage canister and draws power directly from your truck's batter to save you wiring hassles. The Bedlocker tonneau cover features an electromagnetic brake that allows you to stop the cover anywhere along its rails and hold it in place for any cargo-carrying need. The tonneau installs using a clamp-on rail system so that you don't have to drill, cut, or trim your truck's bed.
