High-Quality leveling Kit That Keeps Factory Performance
There are a ton of front leveling kits out there for the 2009 to 2013 F150s, but few give you both the ride height you want and the performance and reliability you need all in one package. Auto Spring aims to fix that with this 2.5" front leveling kit that features a unique design that preserves your truck's smooth factory ride all while allowing your upper control arm to clear your springs without any rubbing at full articulation. The 2.5" ride height gain allows to fit on up to 33" tires without the need to trim. Auto Spring's heavy-duty spacers are the perfect choice for an F150 that needs to do it all.
Heavy-Duty Steel Construction
Each of these high-quality 2.5" F150 leveling spacers are made out of high-quality 1/4" steel plates that are all CNC laser-cut for a perfect fit every time. Each spacer features welded-in gussets that give both spacers immense strength and help prevent fatigue with age. Auto Spring's patent-pending design gives these spacers a 1/4" offset that allows your control arms to clear the coil springs at full articulation so that you don't need to worry about pushing your truck to the limit off-road. The kit comes with zinc plated hardware and instructions that make it easy to install on your truck.

High quality, solid, and easy install. Overall an amazing product. I did my research on some forums on what the best level kit for my truck was and everyone pointed to auto spring. I thought I'd try it out and I was not disappointed. Took me a little under 3 hrs to complete. Very easy to install, but the only hangup was on trying to fit the strut back in place after the added 2.5 spacer was on there. Other than that the rest of it was pretty straight forward. I am now able to run 35x12.50x18 bfg ko2 tires with no rubbing issues (with minor trimming). Thank you.

Had my buddy do it at his shop because he had a lift. The kit took less than an hour for both sides. It's a 2.5 but I got exactly 2.75 inches of lift out of it. The trucks sits perfectly level now. Great product I'd recommend to anyone! Thanks Stage 3 and Auto Spring.

Great fit very fast shipping! Truck is almost perfectly level 1/16th of an inch higher in the front. I'm very happy with the new stance. Easy installation only took about an hour. No noticeable difference in ride quality. Alignment needed after installation.

I have been told that on the FX-4 if you run anything larger than 1.5 inch level it can have some negative affects on the front end suspension. I was told this is only true on the FX-4 have you guys heard of any such issues?
Asked by:
JD-2013 FX-4
- 4/19/2014
Any spacer kit on any F150 submodel can have less than desirable effects on the suspension. Most taller spacer kits can cause some porpoising at full lock and cause slightly adverse UCA and CV angles. However, if you're truck is solely going to be rolling around the street, you won't have much to worry about.

I am looking to level my 2013 Ford F-150 with 20" runs and 33's. Would you recommend 2" or 2.5"? I would prefer the truck not to be higher in the front than in the back.
Asked by:
Jordan
- 6/12/2016
If you want a completely dead-level look, then we recommend doing a 2.5" leveling kit. In general, a 2" leveling kit will leave a small bit of front rake, which isn't necessarily a bad thing for trucks that do a lot of towing or hauling. 2.5" leveling kits tend to provide much more of a leveled-out stance.

This may by a newb question but do you need an alignment after installing the leveling kit?
Asked by:
Brian
- 7/20/2016
An alignment is highly recommended to adjust your toe and camber angles back into factory specs to avoid abnormal tire wear.

Will this be able to fit and work properly on a 2011 F150 XLT 4x4 with 275x65r18? I'm looking to put on 33x12.50r18 and provide necessary trimming. Will this be perfectly leveled?
Asked by:
Alec
- 1/27/2017
Tire fitment is also going to depend on your wheel specs, specifically their widths, offsets, and backspacing. That being said, as long as you're willing to trim, you can squeeze on a 33x12.50" tire on most wheel options without too many problems. In our opinion, a 2.5" front level gets your truck just about dead-level.

Have new 2014 F150 4x4 crewcab. 1500 miles, 18" stock tires. Want the front as level as rear. Sounds like this is the Kit I need 2.5".....How many miles should I put on it before I do the kit ?
Asked by:
Mark
- 8/17/2015
Technically speaking, you could put the kit on now and not have an problem. The only potential problem you may run into is that on a fairly new truck that hasn't had its suspension entirely broken in yet, you could see a hint of rear rake from the front of the truck sitting higher than intended. Depending on how often you drive and what kind of driving you do, you may want to put another good 500 miles on your truck if you want a true dead-level stance right away.

Are the holes for the strut bolts directly below the strut spacer bolt or are the hole offset so the strut bolts aren't directly under the spacer bolt? Picture shows both which is why I am asking?
Asked by:
Josh
- 10/19/2015
The holes are offset by about a 1/4" of inch. The images weren't taken at a perfect angle to properly show that.

Asked by:

If you want to get to as close to a dead-level stance as possible, we recommend a 2.5" leveling kit. In general, a 2" leveling kit will leave a bit of rake.

I have a 2011 F-150 4x4 Lariat 20 inch wheels with 126k miles. My current measurement is 39.5 inch from ground to fender on the back and 37.5 inch from ground to fender on the front..I am looking to get dead leveled and put on 33's. 2 inch kit or 2.5 inch kit?
Asked by:
Kurt
- 10/26/2016
In general, it's our opinion that a 2.5" leveling kit gets your truck closer to a dead-level stance than a 2" leveling kit. Measuring from the ground isn't always the best indicator, since the tires deform due to the weight of the truck.

With this on a 2013 stx is are ucas needed or will an alignment do?
Asked by:
Taylor
- 11/25/2016
Yep. This kit fits all 2009-2013 F150s, regardless of submodel. UCAs are not strictly required, though we do recommend them if you're going to be doing a lot of off-roading and/or fully articulating your front suspension on a regular basis. An alignment is strongly recommended for all leveling and lift kits whether you get UCAs or don't.

What is the recommended tire size for the 2.5” spacer with Stock 20 wheels?
Asked by:
13KR
- 1/5/2019
The biggest we usually recommend to avoid all rubbing issues is a 33x11.5" tire, so a 295/55R20, 285/60R20, or 305/55R20. You can go slightly bigger, though you will risk rubbing, especially during turning and articulation.

With the 2.5 inch leveling kit, will 22 in wheels fit?
Asked by:
Ronnie
- 2/2/2017
Yes, 22" wheels will fit with a leveling kit. However, final wheel and tire fitment depends on the tire and the specs of the wheel, especially their widths, offsets, and backspacing. Please give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 so we can get more specific about your planned wheel and tire combination.

will it work if I put a 3 inch front leveling kit on the front and a 1 inch block on the rear on my 2014 ecoboost f150?
Asked by:
Salah Salaymeh
- 9/6/2017
This leveling kit is only capable of adding 2.5" of front ride height to your truck, and shouldn't be stacked with an additional spacer. If you want 3" of front ride height, then we suggest using a 3" capable coilover like the
Halo Lifts Boss Coilovers
. You would be able to use a 1" rear block without any issues with either this kit or the coilovers.

I was originally looking into doing the Bilstein leveling kit however I have been redirected to this option. I am looking to put this on my 2013 FX4 as well as a the Pro Comp 1.5" Add A Leaf kit. However, I would still like to replace the shocks as they are original at 82k. What would you recommend to pair with the 2.5" AS and 1.5" AAL? Thank you!
Asked by:
Danyelle
- 11/21/2017
For the Add-a-Leaf, you should probably use either the
Halo Lifts rear shocks
, since they're rated to handle up to 2" or extra rear height. In theory, you could use most aftermarket rear shocks if you're not planning on beating on your truck, however, many manufacturers only recommend up to 1" of increased ride height for your truck. To replace your front strut assembly, you could use the
Bilstein 5100 front struts
or the
Eibach Pro-Truck Sport Strut Assemblies
, but you'd have to keep them at a 0" factory ride height setting.

I currently am running Bilstein 5100's up front on the highest setting with Toyo RT 35x12.50r20. I'm looking for a bit smoother ride. Can I have my Bilsteins set at the lowest setting and then add the 2.5" leveling kit to make the ride smoother? Any advice on how to maintain the front lift but smoot out the ride is appreciated.
Asked by:
Seth McCauley
- 6/28/2018
You could, though I'm not sure how great your final ride quality is going to be. In theory, it should be a little softer, since you're taking preload off of the spring, but we haven't tried stacking a spacer on top of Bilstein 5100s on one of our own trucks as of yet.

I currently have bilstein 5100's at the highest setting. I find that they are very stiff and too rough for daily city driving. If I put them at the lowest setting with this space will I have a softer ride?
Asked by:
Seth
- 6/8/2019
It will be softer since you'll be taking preload off the spring, though it'll still be slightly stiffer than stock.

My local dealership said that I have a "busted" shock... I would like to level out my 2012 F-150 but would the "busted" shock hinder me from getting a 2.5" spacer kit?? And should I go with adjustable (Bilstein) shocks to level it out since one of the factory shocks is busted??
Asked by:
Cam
- 12/17/2019
If your factory strut assembly is blown out or has some issue, then you may not get the ride you want. Your much better bet would be to replace the stock strut assemblies with something not broken, and you have more than a few options. Give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 for possible options.
