2015 F150

After placement of the 'add-a-leaf', the stock u-bolts were not long enough to allow for a full nut's length of thread. Both I and the Ford Dealership, doing the installation, agreed that this was not as safe as it should be; a full length minimum should be required to avoid any undo stress on the threads holding the spring assembly onto the axle. Longer u-bolts, not provided in the Stage-3 Add-a-Leaf kit, were obtained and used to complete the installation.

2015 F-150 XLT

I have a capper, wood bench, extra battery etc...always in the truck, so with a full load it really starts to sag, or when towing, especially with my leveled front. I wanted to get rid of my sag and get some extra weight capacity and ended up giving this a try. First, it raised my back end about 1 3/4-2 inches, so I have a bit of the factory rake back. Second, I can have a full load in the back without sag. The ride isn't any worse than before, no bounce in the back. It's over 40 inches in length so it isn't some tiny spring that makes the ride rough..I would buy it again without hesitation.

2016 F150 SuperCrew

Install time was 3 hours including jacking and supporting vehicle and locating tools. I installed the leaf after installing 2.5 front leveling kit. The front leveling kit after alignment gave .5 lift to the rear. After the add a leaf I gained 1. Truck looks and drives amazing, not rough at all !!

2.7l F-150 super crew FX4

Very easy to install (with car lift), I had an issue with squat do to carrying my RTT w/ bed rack, drawer system, fridge w/ fridge slide, 100ah Deep cycle AGM batt, camp stove....etc. these remedied that quick, gain my body clearance back. Would recommend these over helper springs.

This is just what I was looking for. I installed the Rancho Quick Lift Loaded combo on the front to level my truck but I was not satisfied with the look. Instead of installing an airbag suspension on the back like my previous truck in went with these and so far I am very happy with my decision. Install was a breeze and had no issues.

2019 F150 FX4

Cannot comment on the install, strictly because $200 for 4wheelparts to install was cheaper than me dragging the jack out of the garage. Previously I had leveled the truck with 5100's. When I towed my 5k lb trailer I would have 2" sag in the rear. I decided to upgrade to a 10k lb trailer and knew I needed the help. As you can see from the picture, these things rock! I picked up just shy of 2" in the rear after install. To address the ride.... Shut up. You want a Cadillac, go get one. Its a truck. To say the ride is "slightly" more chopper would be a stretch. I will take the ride over looking like an idiot going down the road with my rear bumper dragging the road with a load on it.

2017 f150 2.7

I had installed fox 2.0 coilovers on my truck for about 1.75' of lift leaving the rear nearly an inch higher than the front. A leer topper and 20k miles later the rear factory 1.5' block had allowed the back of the truck so sag nearly level with the front. Load some wood or gear in the back and the truck would go nose high and even hit the rear bump stops on rough surfaces. I decided to grab these AAL's and give them a try. I removed the factory block and put these in their place. The rear is back to an inch rake over the front and the ride is so much better! Possibly a little firmer ride but not harsh in any way and handling is much improved. If I ever buy a new f150 I will immediately remove the factory block and put these in. Not one complaint, easy install and a quality product that's worth the money. Took about two hours in my garage. If you put as much as a golden retriever in the bed of your truck you need these!

Ford F-150 2018

Excellent product and did exactly what was advertised. I hauled 1,500 lb. to 2,000 lb. pallets across town about 20 times recently and afterward I noticed my truck had permanently sunk 1.5. I bought this product to increase the hauling capacity and to get the lift back and it worked perfectly. I had a local company do the installation and they had no problems at all. It might be difficult to see the lift difference in the before and after pics because its only 1.5 , but its there if you look close enough. And I could tell immediately in person. I like knowing that I have that extra hauling capacity. I noticed no difference in the ride quality after installation. Thank you!

2018 F150

I have a 2018 F150 XLT. I purchased the truck and immediately installed a 2.5” front leveling kit. This set my truck within a 1/4” of perfect level. When towing a UTV my truck would squat significantly in the rear. I started looking for options to maintain the desired stance. After reading reviews I decided to purchase the add a leafs. I installed the add a leafs my self using jacks and jack stands. It took me about an hour. While installing I removed the factory blocks(1.25” blocks) and this set my truck right at 40” in the rear. This gives my truck a 3/4” rake and increasing the rear height by 1/2”. The ride quality hasn’t suffered much. You can feel a little stiffer ride but only slightly. The increased stabilization while towing is worth the slight stiffness in the ride. At 4000 miles in I’m very pleased.

2017 F150 Ecoboost Supercab 4x4

After installing my Bilstein 5100 Leveling kit at the second from highest setting, the truck would squat with barely any weight in the bed (2.7l eco). I carry a deep tool box with about 200lbs of tools at all times and it felt like the truck was back heavy. Once I installed the leaf (left stock blocks in) the truck almost has a stock rake back, rides better, handles weight better, and tows better.

2017 F-150 Crew Cab FX4

Added the perfect amount of lift to my truck and compensated for the extra weight of the Leer Cap I added. The Fox 2.0+the leer were a little too much to keep the truck level, so this provided a small amount of rake now that it has settled out. The only thing that would make this kit better would be included U-bolts for the application as I felt they could have been a little longer.

Install was easy, also installed new skyjacker shocks eliminated my axle wrap problem while towing. Also truck rides smoother then new to my surprise. I have also 2.5 level kit in the front truck sit nice when new but after 40,000 miles and lots of hulling and towing rear was starting to sag, these make it sit perfect thanks

These springs were great quality. Install was straight forward. I YouTube’d the install. They recommend using some hand clamps to hold the spring pack together while assembling. Good trick. Lifted the rear and of my truck 2” when all said and done.

2018 Ford F150 4WD

This item is supposed to raise the rear end of your truck 1.5-2". After installing these leaf springs and a 2.7" lift to the front, my ride went from a 1.5" rake to a 1.25" squat ... meaning the rear end was lifted a whopping 0.05 inches. Additionally, the whole point of add-a-leaf springs is to prevent sag under load. Unloaded, there was 1.5" is space between the bottom of my Timbren SES and its base plate. After loading half a cord of wood, there was no more space in the SES. As far as I can tell, these leaves have done absolutely nothing for my truck's suspension. The only good thing I can say is that they're heavy steel. Unfortunately, they are also difficult to install, since you have to take your existing spring pack apart to install these leaves right above the bottom leaf in the factory spring pack. This product is not even close to the performance and convenience of Hellwig's Helper Springs and are actually more expensive. I wish I had found out about the Hellwig springs before I bought these add-a-leaf springs.

For the price point these leafs are super legit. Install per side is 30 minutes tops if you're mechanically inclined. I installed them and immediately towed 9k on stock shocks with no squat with 2" leveling pucks (previously installed before leafs) Before the Add a leaf, I had 2" leveling puck making full level no factory rake. After the add a leaf settled it return to factory like rake with the 2" leveling puck still installed, so if you're going to install these with no leveling or other suspension work, your rake is going to be utterly ridiculous.

2015 F150 Lariat 4x4

Works great, leveled my truck out perfect. I have a fiberglass topper on the back that made a difference in the stance, she now has the stance of a real truck with the add a leaf. Can't really tell a difference in the ride quality either, still rides great. Took about 4 hours to do both sides with no power tools. Pretty easy job.

They did exactly as they should. Lifted the back up about 1 1/2" and increased payload. They stiffened the ride quite a bit more than I would desire but hopefully they will break in.

Hi, I installed the Readylift 69-2300 3.5" lift kit and 2" block in rear. Taht Block is 3" but Lift the truck only 2" when reemplaced stock. The question is: I want to go up an inch more and I think with this I will achieve it but I will have to buy some spacer for the Driveshaft or not?

Do these require longer u bolts? If so do you have the longer bolts in stock?

I have a friend that installed the AutoSpring Add a Leaf and once it settled it settled down .75” on the left and 1” on the right. Is that uncommon? With a stock block and stock tire size it’s sitting at 40” ground to fender on the left and 40.25” ground to fender on the right.
