One of the most effective ways to give your 2018-2020 F150's front end a whole new look and greatly improved lighting output over stock is with the AlphaRex Nova Series LED Projector Headlights. These stylish headlights use banks of powerful LED board behind specially-designed projector lenses to give your F150 a sharp, crisp, and extremely bright beam pattern that is far more effective than the factory halogen headlights and bulbs. On top of their vastly improved outputs, the Nova Series Headlights feature an awesome-looking design with an LED outline strip that functions as both a white running light as well as a sequential turn signal that gives your aggressive F150 build some of the most unique looks and function on both the street and the trail. The LED projectors and outline strip are built into a matte black housing that fits in great with other black exterior parts and dark styling themes. The AlphaRex Nova Series F150 Projector Headlights combine an extremely stylish and aggressive design with some of the latest LED and projector technology to give your truck a pair of headlight that not only looks great, but gets a big improvement in output with nearly flawless function. AlphaRex builds each of their Nova Series headlights around powerful OSRAM LED chips that are housed in their patented Ice Cube 3D projectors that cast the light from the LED chips both forward and to the side to maximum beam breadth while still providing a clean and crisp forward beam cutoff to avoid blinding other drivers. The Nova Series Headlights for the 2018-2020 F150s use a pair of the Ice Cube projectors for the low beams and a whole other pair for the high beams in each light, giving these headlights huge output. The two-function LED strip runs the entire perimeter of the headlight housing and features a white LED running light that functions as a true DRL thanks to the headlight's unique module with an add-a-fuse kit. The amber function uses your F150's stock turn signal wiring and has a sequential design that adds a unique look to your F150's signaling. The headlights come standard with clear polycarbonate lenses that are coated to resist both condensation and plastic corrosion. Each pair of AlphaRex Nova Series headlights features a drop-in, plug-and-play install and come backed by a 2-year limited warranty. These headlights are DOT-approved for street use.

Fitment: 2018-2020 F150 with OEM halogen headlights

For base OEM halogen F150s: currently, these headlights will only fit on F150s that came from the factory with base halogen reflector headlights. An additional converter harness is required for trucks equipped with OEM LED headlights. Please see our drop-down menu above.

Great fit and look great also. The only reason for the 4 star is that they do not include the harness for the DRL function.

2018 Ford F-150 Lariat

These head lights are VERY bright. They really throw a full blanket of light over anything that is in front of you. They also have a really strong cut off line where the light stops at the top, so it's easy to tell if you're blinding other drivers or not. After I installed mine, I had to a A LOT of adjusting to aim them down and out of other drivers eyes. Luckily, these are very easy to adjust. I am very happy with the look, fit, and performance of these lights!

2018 XLT

These are great lights. The light output is uniform and extremely bright. They take A LOT of adjustment to get them right. I was initially told that the bright is not adjustable. There is a screw that adjusts the brights, but its kind of a pain to get to. I love the boot up feature and the DRL.

2018 F150 Sport

2019 F150 STX

Since day 1 I have been thoroughly impressed with the amount of light output that the AlphaRex Nova series have provided. The startup sequence is a pretty cool feature and you get Crystal clear and sharp light patterns with these, and they look great too.

Do the AlphaRex nova headlights jet black for a 2019 f150 with stock halogen lights come with LED bulbs? Is there anything else I would need in order to install them into the truck? I want to convert my truck to all LED lighting.

The Nova Series Lights use built-in LEDs for the high beams, low beams, and signaling. They do not require additional hardware for installation onto a truck with factory halogen reflector headlights.

How do these compare to the morimoto headlights?

Output-wise, they're very similar (at-least on paper). The Nova Series does have a true DRL function instead of tying into the parking lights like the Morimotos. Morimoto does have a better warranty than AlphaRex. Unfortunately, we have not had both in at the same time for a head-to-head as of yet.

So when you have the DRL feature on in your truck do these lights light up the outside LED strip or the outside LED strip and Headlight?

If your F150 has OEM daytime running lights, the low beam and the outside strip will run, since you functionally are using your low-beams full time.

When these burn out can you replace the bulb? How long are they expected to last?

The LEDs are not replaceable like traditional bulbs. They're built into boards within the headlight housing. According to AlphaRex, the LEDs are rated for a 50,000 hour lifespan.

Based on the supplied product photos and the customer photos, it appears that there are two DRL styles, one being solid white and the other being more transparent. How do you know which style you will be getting if you order these lights?

A lot of the difference comes down to camera and lighting. These headlights have a "frosted" white LED outline strip which is semi-transparent.

Your video mentions the halogen bulb in the center turn signal light. Do you have a recommended led bulb to replace this bulb and is there also a side marker bulb that I see there or is that just the light reflecting From off the turn signal bulb.

The headlights use an OE 7443NA bulb. You can check out our LED turn signals here. There is a sidemarker bulb tucked on the inboard side of the headlights.
