Solid, Chomoly Steel Sway Bar with Adjustable Roll Settings

Hellwig's Sway Bar is built incredibly strong and has an adjustable design so that you can find your perfect level of performance and handling. Hellwig's F150 sway bars are made of heat-treated, chromoly steel alloy with a solid construction that helps distribute load between your F150's rear wheels. The sway bar has three mounting holes that allow for adjustments in roll stiffness so that you can set the bar perfectly for your intended application. Each Hellwig sway bar come with all the hardware you need for installation, and each sway bar was carefully designed to bolt right up to your F150 without any drilling or modifications. Hellwig even backs their sway bar with a limited lifetime warranty.

Differential Cover Fitment: this sway bar may not clear oversized aftermarket differential covers.

Will not fit lifted F150s: this version of Hellwig's sway bar will not fit F150s with crossmember suspension lift kits. A version of this sway bar for F150s with 4-6" lift kits is also available.

2019 4x4 Lariat SCREW 3.5 EB

My truck is leveled with the bilstein 5100s and 34" BFGs. I also have the Firestone ride rite airbags. The sway bar was the last mod i added. Installation was pretty straight forward. This is a very well made product. The sway bar stiffened the stock ride quite a bit. I mainly notice the rigidity on uneven surfaces when the bar is flexing (ie: pot holes or uneven bumps). I noticed a tremendous increase in stability and "plantedness" when pulling my trailer. I recently was pulling my rig across the desert with 50+mph winds. It looked like everyone trailering that day was getting hammered by the wind. I couldn't even feel the wind in my truck, the rear bar totally eliminated all body roll. The combination of the air bags and stabilizer bar make for a rock solid experience.

It’s hard to believe that the f150 doesn’t come with a rear sway bar. This was a great add, the bar is solid and really helps keep you planted in hard cornering. No more hopping under hard Acceleration.

2016 4x4 crew cab f150

Great product. It took a little longer to install than I would have liked but I did it myself without a lift. When I received the sway bar the package was in good shape. When I was checking to make sure everything was included I noticed the powder coating on the hoop brackets was flaking off. I sanded all the hoop brackets and painted them. I have the sway bar set on the first adjustment hole and seems to make an improvement in the handling of the truck. I also added the bilstein 5100 shocks at the same time. I am going to try the middle setting and see how it changes the handling of the truck. I’d recommend watching some videos before installing.

Best upgrade I've add to my truck by far! The snappy body roll from the stock set up is gone My wife no longer gets motion sickness when we go for a drive The directions were vague on what length to set the end links at but a quick phone cleared that up.

2018 Ford F150 4x4 SCREW 5.0

I tow an enclosed car hauler that weighs about 8k lbs loaded. I didn't like how loose the rear end felt towing on the highway or taking off ramps. The kit is excellent quality and easy to install. I still don't understand why Ford didn't install this at the factory as it makes such a positive improvement to ride quality. I have Roush catback exhaust and Sumo springs installed and had no problem with fitment. It's a little pricey but well worth the piece of mind.

2015 f150 supercrew 4x4 hauling a lance 650 truck camper, figure about 2,500 lbs. Which hole position is recommended?

Hellwig generally recommends starting on the middle setting and readjusting as needed. With a fairly tall camper like a Lance 650, you may want to start on the stiffest setting and see how well it works in keeping sway down with your taller center of gravity. At worst, you can set it looser if the rear suspension is too stiff.

Will this kit work with my MBRP cat back 3-Inch XP Series Exhaust System with the dual outlet side exit in front of rear tire?

If you have part# S5255409, then it should work fine with this sway bar. The MBRP S5255409 kit hugs pretty close to the frame and bumper and stays away fro the rear axle and sway bar mounts. Will this work on a truck with drop shackles?

It depends on the drop provided by the shackles. The end links included are threaded and slightly adjustable, but only so much, and they likely can't handle larger 2" or lower shackles. Your best bet would be to give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 so we can get more specific about your truck.
