The S&B Cold Air Intake features a more efficient filter, air box assembly, and inlet tubing that all work together to give your truck's turbochargers all the air they need to squeeze out some extra horsepower, torque, throttle response, and fuel economy. Like all of S&B's products, their 2.7L & 3.5L EcoBoost cold air intake kits is made out of high-quality materials that will give your truck years of excellent performance and function. The S&B Cold Air Intake kit drops right in place of your stock intake system and doesn't require tuning for proper function.

Features a Complete Air Box, Filter, and High-Flow Tubing

Each of S&B's cold air intakes is 100% complete and comes with all the hardware and components you need to overhaul your EcoBoost F150's intake system. The kit is built around an S&B high-flow disposable paper filter made with silicone bases and tops that won't crack like the competition's polyurethane filters. The paper media is disposable and can't be reused. The filter is housed in a complete air box assembly that features a larger and more efficiently sculpted forward air scoop than stock to help improve overall airflow volume. The filter feeds air into a highly efficient inlet tube assembly that greatly reduces restrictions and back pressure and is locked tight to the air box with a full silicone seal to help prevent heat soak and NVH. The air box of each kit comes with a clear lid that allows for easy viewing of the filter for maintenance checks. Each intake comes with a complete set of hardware and instructions.

18’ F150

98% of this intake is flawless and the quality is exceptional. There only 2 gripes I have with this assembly. #1 there are no clips built in to hold to air intake temp sensor extension wire. #2 I personally would have like to see some kind of larger coupler with a flap or something to cover the gap of where it goes threw the housing to make it completely sealed. Other than those minor gripes it performs beautifully. And would suggest this intake to anyone with a 3.5 Ecoboost!!

2019 F150

I really like the fit and function of this CAI. I cant say that ive seen a noticeable increase in MPG or power but it seems to be less restrictive than the factory air filter. I went with the dry filter because i dont want to mess with the oil an cleaning process of the washable filter. i can always switch to an oiled filter if i choose to go that rout. On a different note, i did order a S&B prefilter to go over the dry filter that came with this kit. I had to order it from S&b directly

2018 F150 Ltd.

Looks and works great, especially with the 5 start tune I dropped in. Quality is spot on. The dry filter is white in color so you can see when it gets dirty and needs to be replaced,. I have to admit that I copped out on the install and had my local mechanic install this while changing my rear brakes (PowerStop z36 also great from Stage 3) as it was already too cold outside for me to work on my own truck in the driveway. He had no issues with installation.

Two questions: How many miles does the dry disposable filter last under normal driving conditions and is the replacement filter KF-1058D what I need for 75-5122D?

It really depends on climate and whether you're on dirt roads. In general, S&B says that average filter lifespan is about 15,000-20,000 miles. However, trucks that are just street-driven in fairly dust-free areas could get up 30,000 miles or so. According to S&B, the correct replacement filter for this kit is KF-1058D.
