The SCT device ships out with three Preloaded SCT Tunes, and you'll receive another four 5-Star custom tunes with each order, giving you
seven powerful tuning options for your 6.0L F250 or F350. While SCT's tunes are fairly general for use on any truck, 5-Star's tunes are designed specifically for your 2003 to 2007 F250 or F350 6.0L and get you much more precise shifting and transmission function, improved fuel economy, and better power than SCT's tunes. 5-Star's tunes can also compensate for a larger variety of modifications than SCT tunes, giving you much more leeway in terms of upgrading your 6.0L to maximize its performance and power. Once you receive 5-Star's custom tunes, all you need to do is load them into your Livewire and then upload them to your truck through its OBD-II port. The process is extremely simple and hassle-free, so that your Super Duty gets awesome new levels of power and performance in practically no time.

5-Star Super Duty 6.0L Custom Tuning Process
Stage 3's 5-Star Custom Tuning Step-by-Step: 1. You place your order for 5-Star's Custom Tunes.
2. Stage 3 sends you a
"blank" tuner without custom tunes.
3. You hook the tuner into your truck and pull its
ECU strategy code and part number, TCM strategy code and part number, and SWPN Number. 4. You fill out our
online tune form with the information from your truck.
5. If your truck has Ford's latest strategy updates, we'll forward your information over to 5-Star and get your tunes created.
6. Once 5-Star creates your tunes, you will be emailed a link to download them from our Google Drive.
7. Download 5-Star's tunes to your PC and then load them to your tuning device using SCT's Device Updater Software.
8. Now you can successfully load your 5-Star Custom Tune of choice into your Super Duty.
