The 2.3L Ecoboost engine gets by alright on the 2019-2020 Ford Ranger, but Roush put together their Performance Pac 1 to add a big bump in horsepower, torque and throttle response to turn your midsize truck into an off-road warrior. The Roush Performance Pac 1 combines a Roush cold air induction kit with Roush performance engine calibration. The Roush Performance Pac 1 can add peak increases of horsepower and torque to your awesome EcoBoost to completely change its feel. The kit also improves airflow with less intake restriction than OEM applications. Engineered transparent lid maintaining factory water fording capability is achieved by keeping the stock airbox snorkel.

High-Quality Roush Cold Air Intake & Easy Installation

While Roush's Performance Pac 1 is capable of greatly improving your 2019-2020 Ford Ranger's power outputs and performance, the kit also features a nice installation and reusable components. Designed using OEM CAD data, the Performance Pac 1 perfectly fits inside the Ranger. The Roush Cold Air Intake drops right into place of your truck's factory intake system and improves the intake's airflow. The Performance Pac 1 also uses a washable and reusable dry performance air filter for convenience. This package is compatible with premium pump gas and calibration optimized for 93 octane fuel. Roush's test truck saw gains of 47rhwp and 65lb-ft of torque when using 93 octane during their dyno testing.

Requires at least 91 octane fuel: the tuning included in this package is for 91 octane or higher fuel, though 93 octane is recommended for maximum power gains.

Tuning: in order to receive your Roush Tuning, you will need to use Roush's RDT Service and a suitable J2534 OBD-II pass-through tool.

Warranty Note: Roush offers a 3-year/36,000-mile limited powertrain warranty.

Aside from the additional HP and torque would the CAI and engine tune increase fuel economy at all?

If you actually drive like you want to get good fuel economy, you can see a slight increase. The real issue is that a lot of folks tend to "enjoy" the power bump a little too much, and are always on the throttle, which causes a decrease in overall fuel economy. If you drive conservatively, you can see an overall gain.

Does this tuner void the Ford warranty?

Using the tune could result in your Ford dealer to not cover any powertrain-related repairs under the terms of your truck's factory warranty. That being said, Roush provides their own 3-year/36,000 mile powertrain warranty. Your bumper-to-bumper warranty is not effected.
