Improves Rear Suspension Performance for Many Applications

The factory rear shocks on your F150 are fraught with compromise and really can't handle much more than basic street driving. When you need something that can handle an extra inch of lift in the rear and improves your truck's performance, you can turn to the Bilstein 5100 series rear shock. This rear shock for the 2015-2022 4WD F150s is the perfect uprated replacement for stock and comes backed by Bilstein's legendary quality and performance. The Bilstein 5100 series shock was built from the ground up for light truck applications and is the perfect choice for the F150 that does a little bit of everything. The specialized valving and high-quality piston of these shocks provide excellent off-road performance, improved towing control, and a much more planted street ride without ruining your truck's factory ride comfort.

Monotube Gas-Charged Design with Digressive Piston

The Bilstein F150 5100 series shock bolts on right in place of your truck's factory rear shocks, but features a performance-oriented design with a longer 9" of travel than stock to give your truck an extra bump in rear suspension performance, especially when used in combination with taller rear blocks. The 5100 rear shock is built around a monotube, nitrogen gas-charged design with a 46mm digressive piston. Each shock uses self-adjusting deflective disc valving that provides it with excellent response in almost any application. The body of each shock is made out of heavy-duty steel with a zinc-plated finish and a Triple-C coating for great looks and high strength.

Will not fit 2021-2022 Tremor: due to the 2021-2022 F150 Tremors using a 3" rear block, this shock will not have the proper length on Tremor models.

Will not fit F150s with CCD: this shock will not fit or function on F150s with Ford's optional Continuous Control Damping (CCD) system. Please verify whether or not your F150 is equipped with CCD before ordering.

Sold separately: each Bilstein 5100 shock is sold separately and a quantity of two is required for a complete installation.

'16 5.0L F150 Lariat FX4

Absolutely resolved the dangerous rear end hop that this truck has had since it was new. Ford won't own up to terrible shocks on so many of these trucks, and after several dangerous situations hopping all over the road, I ponied up and ordered these shocks to fix it myself. Couldn't be happier now. Thanks to the Stage3 guys for their help. Best place to buy upgrades for your rig.

2015 F150 5.0 SCREW

I love these shocks! The best mod I have done so far. The truck rides so much better on the highway now. A little bit firmer but no more bouncing and rocking side to side over bumps. Towing is much more stable now as well. I wish these were out last year before I bought the auto spring front level. I'm sure the fronts would complete the package but that will have to wait for now.

2017 F-150

These are great shocks. Don't really affect the already good ride but eliminate the side-to-side shaking when going over bad pot-holes, railroad tracks, etc. Worth the money. Definitely give the rear a more planted feel.

Took 30 minutes, tops to install. No more jittery ride going over rough roads and railroad tracks. Feels planted on the road. Big improvement!

2016 F150

Install went smooth. Very easy to do. Torque specs for the bolts aren’t mentioned but since you are reusing the factory ones you go by Fords specs which are 66ft lbs

2018 F150 KR

First off the factory original rear shocks at 1200 miles were already seeping oil. Quality is job eh who cares. The 5100's did a nice job of calming the rear end down. Easy install look great and ride nice. Well worth the time money and effort.
