Great, New Look for your F250

Recon lighting knows the Ford Super Duty better than anyone, and they know how to make these powerful trucks look awesome in no time. That's why they went out and developed this set of F250 fender badges. This pair of illuminated fender badges instantly give your truck an aggressive, custom look that will have everyone else turning their heads. Recon's kit includes fender badges for both the driver and passenger side of your truck that fit on as direct bolt-on replacements for your stock badges. The badges are available in either a chrome or black color, and the emblem itself comes with a switch that allows you to select from white, red, or amber lighting to get your truck a perfect look.

Set of Two Badges with Tons of Options

Recon's badges come with several options for both illumination and badge color so that you can have a near-OE look or something completely out of left field. Recon's badges come either a black or chrome backing, along with a switch that allows for you to change the lighting color from amber, red, or white to match your truck. The badges drop right in place of your factory badges and come with three feet of wiring for each. Recon's F250 illuminated badges require a 12V switched power source for proper operation. We recommend wiring them into your Super Duty's parking lights for the best results.

2015 F250

Good product and awesome customer service. Easy to install and works well with factory aux switches. After installing I decided not to light them up a lot because they would be an easy steal for any thief that saw where I lived. Literal a 5 minute rob job.

F-250

Lights are decent - they look pretty good. My only complaint is when it's on the amber setting it doesn't light up all the way as seen in the pic under the 5. Not happy about spending all that money for a poor performing product.

2016 F 250

Stage 3 is excellent to deal with. The Recon emblems were of good quality and easy to install and wire. My only complaint would be the supplied clips for mounting. I did swap them out with the factory clips and it seemed to be more securely mounted.

2011 F-250

I bought this for my wife's F-250, she absolutely loves it and the truck looks fantastic! The lights are bright enough to see in any daytime condition and the different colors are great. It was easy to install and now I wish I had something like it for my Expedition.

You really just have to pull them off, or wrap a screwdriver in a small towel to not scratch your paint while you work around the edges.

I orded the white one ive got other blue leds on the truck I was just wondering if they make a blue replacement bulb or some kind of blue tint that would cover the lens any ideas?

Unfortunately, Recon does not offer a blue option due to DOT regulations regarding emergency vehicle lighting.

Is there an installation video for installing the emblem lights on an 2016 f250 using the auxillary switchs in side the cab?

There is not, and there's not an easy way to do it that way anymore, since the emblems now come with a color-changing switch, instead of a set of single-function leads.

On the red option, the emblem itself will have a red color to it. While we don't have individual images of the red emblems for the Super Duty, they should be similar in appearance to the red variants for the F150s, pictured here.

I got a 2014 250 that has these on it and one has quit lighting up, can you get replacement bulbs for them at local auto parts store?

Unfortunately, these emblems don't use traditional bulbs, they're powered by LED boards. First, you may want to check the wiring and ensure that nothing's come loose or looks frayed. If you don't see a wiring issue, give us a call directly so we can check whether they're eligible for Recon's warranty.

The listing mentions a switch. What does the switch look like and does it go in the cabin or engine compartment? Is the switch even necessary if I use my uplifter switches?

The included switch is a basic three-position switch that you can surface-mount somewhere in your cab. Most folks choose to actually keep it hidden under the lip of their dash, since the novelty of switching the emblem colors wears off pretty quick. In theory, you could use your upfitter switches, though it would require custom wiring and it would be tough to keep all three light color functions using just a single upfitter switch, since the upfitters are all only single-function.

I have a 2014 f-250 and i ordered these and I just received them but the box says for 2011-2013 f-250 but on here it says 2011-2016, are these the right ones? Are they going to fit my 2014?

These side emblems will fit your truck, as there were no changes made to the fender design or required wiring of these emblems between 2011-2016. Recon just never updated their labels.
