2013 F-150

Bought these after leveling my truck to bring the rear back up. Only needed an inch but thought the advertised 1.5 inches would be fine. These raised my truck 3.5 inches in the rear. Not a huge deal I guess, maybe they'll settle some. A little rake doesn't look too bad. Install was easy except the holes in one of the springs were way too close together. I thought deaver springs were supposed to be good. After about 2 hours of messing with it I used my redneck ingenuity to move one of the holes to the right place. All in all I should have just bought blocks for the rear. Maybe you should just buy blocks too. Stage 3 did great. Shipped quick.

They're awesome ! Added the lift and can handle heavy loads also adds sone stiffness but I'm,good with that highly recommend if you need more payload.

2012 F150 4X4

I'm giving these a three-star review because they were supposed to be a 1.5 inch lift and it turned out there more like a 4 inch lift. Installation wasn't bad it took me about two hours total.

Very happy. Installed there with Rancho shocks. Raised back of truck like 4 inches. Which is fine because I installed the Rancho 2.75 Coilovers in the front, and still have rake for towing camper. Truck ride a little stiffer now. But I like it

I see you guys have 3 add a leafs online: Pro-Comp 1.5" Add a leaf for $139.99 ReadyLift 1.5" add a leaf for $99.99 Auto Spring 1.5" add a leaf for $189.95 Are there any major differences to speak of between the three, other than price? If they all function and perform the same, then the cheapest one seems to be the best option. But, I noticed only the Auto Spring mentions a payload increase. But I would assume they all increase payload. Is that correct? Thanks in advance!

There's not a huge difference in design, function or install of any of those add-a-leaf options. The only real difference is that the Auto Spring Kits tend to be better packaged.

Looking at getting new rear shocks also. Will I need to get longer shocks after adding a leaf?

You wouldn't have to go out of your way to get longer rear shocks, since many aftermarket rear shocks have more travel if not longer lengths. Many stock-replacement rear shocks can handle a 1.5" add-a-leaf kit. You just need to make sure to check the shock specs and make sure that they're rated for at least 1.5" of ride height over stock. Shocks like the Halo Lifts Boss Shocks or ICON 2.0 Aluminum Series are good candidates.

I am really going back and forth on which way to go between blocks and an add-a-leaf. I love the idea of less rear end drop when loaded down or towing but DO NOT want a super stiff ride, especially off-road. Also, I am buying the Fox 2.0 rear shocks which say they can accommodate up to a 1" lift.. is that extra 1/2 inch going to be bad for/damage the shock.. especially off-road?

Add-a-Leaf kits do tend to stiffen up your ride to some extent, though it's hardly unbearable and aftermarket shocks tend to help mitigate the increase in stiffness. Fox only rates their 2.0 shocks for 1" of rear lift, and a better option would be the Halo Lifts Boss 2.0 Rear Shocks which are rated for 2" of lift.

So i have a 2009 f150 the rear has a 1in block which i believe is,stock the leaf springs are Number of leaves: '3/1, Pack thickness: 2.125", Capacity: 1900 lbs but my rear end still is not very stiff and bounces on speed bumps very uncomfortably and fishtails on highways due to small bumps. Im curious will adding another leaf solve this problem on my truck? Or is it because my,truck is a regular cab and is light in the back. But If so after adding the leaf what shock will be best for the added height. Please help been bothering me for a while

An Add-a-Leaf would likely not help you very much when it comes to controlling bounce and jounce. Your much better bet would be a new set of rear shocks, especially if your truck is still running around with the factory shocks or a basic OES replacement shock. The stock shocks are notoriously bad at keeping the rear end under control, especially after they have more than a few mile on them.

Will these add some payload or at least prevent some squat while towing compared to blocks?

Yep. This add-a-leaf kit will add some amount of capacity (though ReadyLift doesn't provide an exact number) and will prevent squat much more effectively than blocks. However, you still can't go over your truck's GVWR/GCWR.
