Less is More With the 2017-2019 Super Duty: How a 4" Lift Can Be Just What Your Truck Needs
One of the very first things we do with our project trucks here at Stage 3 is throw on a new suspension system. Beyond the performance and ride benefits, we just tend to think Super Duties look best with a bit more lift and some rugged, all-terrain tires. If you're on the fence about a 4-5" lift and what exactly a lift that size would do for your truck, consider the already-aggressive ride height the 2017-2019 Super Duty sits at from the factory. We learned just how much a 4" lift can do for a 2017-2019 F250 when we threw a BDS Radius Arm Lift onto our project truck. Combined with the available upgraded Fox shocks, the BDS Radius Arm Lift transformed our project truck into a towering, capable beast that belies its humble four inches of lift. We've made a point to test out our 2017 F250 and its upgraded suspension in a variety of terrain, and it's taken them all on without breaking a sweat. We experienced zero alignment issues and virtually no rubbing on this setup, which you could've guessed just by taking a look at the generous amount of clearance between the wheel and wheel well.
