One of the best preventative maintenance moves you can make for your 2015-2017 5.0L V8 F150 is an oil separator. They not only improve overall performance but keep your intake clear of gunk that builds up over time. During the process of venting crankcase pressure back through your intake track, large amounts of oil, in the form of vapors can gather in your intake tube, robbing your engine of performance and even diluting your gas, lowering its octane level.
