Stage 3's 2015 F150 3.5L EcoBoost Project Truck with a Zone 6" Lift Kit

We like our trucks big, bad, and extraordinarily tough, and it's going to come as no surprise to Stage 3 fans that we lifted our 2015 F150 3.5L EcoBoost nice and high into the air with a 6" lift kit, big wheels, and mud terrain tires. We turned to our friends over at Zone Off-Road and their 2015-2016 F150 4WD 6" Suspension Lift Kit to get us our extra ride height, and then we added 20x10" Fuel Maverick Wheels with a -24mm offset wrapped with 35x12.50" Nitto Trail Grapplers. The end result is absolutely awesome.

 

Improving on Zone's 6" Lift Kit's Ride & Performance

Even though we're big fans of Zone's 6" Suspension Lift Kit, that doesn't mean that there isn't room for improvement. Because the Zone Kit uses strut spacers in conjunction with the factory struts and springs, there's not much change in your truck's on-road ride quality or off-road performance. That's why we put together our very own Zone 6" Boss Coilover Lift Kit. This kit combines a Zone 6" Lift with a set of Halo Lifts Boss 2.0 Front Coilovers so that your F150 gets a towering ride height and improved suspension performance all in one place. We put the Boss 2.0 Coilovers on our own Zone-equipped 2015 F150 3.5L EcoBoost Project Truck with excellent results.

 

Ultimate Off-Road Performance and Handling

While the BOSS Coilovers went a long way to improving the ride quality and some of the performance of the Zone 6" Lift Kit on our 2015 F150 3.5L EcoBoost Project Truck, we naturally wanted more since we tend to beat on our vehicles on a regular basis. To take our truck and its Zone 6" Lift Kit to the next level, we installed BDS Fox 2.5 Front Coilovers for 6" Lifts and BDS Fox 2.0 Rear Shocks for 6" Lifts. The BDS 2.5 coilovers are a full-length coilover designed to replace the stock coilover assembly and strut spacer that most 6" lift kits use all while providing exceptional levels of performance off-road, and excellent ride quality and handling on-road. BDS's coilovers and shocks really let us yank our truck around off-road without coming close to letting us down.
