Some of you may find our decision to throw Focus ST performance parts up here on Stage 3 a bit out of character. Yes, it has about four cylinders less than we're used to. Yes, the drive wheels are up front. Yes, it's a hatchback with at least three more doors than we're really comfortable with. But in the end, we're throwing our hat into the ring because the Focus ST is a flat-out fun car. It's got a nice zip, great handling, decent looks, and the aftermarket has climbed all over it to make it look, sound, and feel even better. We've jumped on the bandwagon, and maybe the shark a little, to bring you some awesome gear that will make your 2013 to 2019 Focus ST really come alive and become a car that you can be proud to call your own.
Like every single turbocharged car since the turbocharger made its way from planes to cars, the 2013 to 2019 Focus STs come from the factory undertuned to help extend the life of the turbo and keep that EcoBoost 2.0L from working too hard. Fortunately with the right cooling upgrades, a PCM tuner can be a safe way to increase power without doing any irreparable damage to your 2.0L Ecoboost.
PCM Tuning with COBB
