The best solution for getting the most out of any aftermarket performance upgrades you've made to your 2004-2008 5.4L F150 is to load up a custom tune. These powerful tunes reprogram your truck's Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to change parameters to match the new upgrades you've made (increased tire size, cold air intake, performance exhaust, etc.). While the standard "canned" tunes on these devices are good, grabbing an SCT device with a custom tune from 5-Star Tuning is usually a much better option if you're looking to squeeze every last bit of horsepower out of your 5.4L V8.
