2000 Mustang GT "FauxBra" Project Car
If there's a lesson with this pretty awesome car, it's if there's a 4V 4.6L V8 from wrecked 1999 SVT Cobra just laying around, you don't say no, and that motor is the heart and soul of our 2000 Mustang GT Project Car, lovingly dubbed the "FauxBra". While Dylan hates the name we've given to his long-term project Mustang, the fact is that this Pony is one bad Mustang. On top of the Cobra 4V swap, the Stage 3 FauxBra build also has a BBK Silver Ceramic Long Tube Header and Off-Road H-Pipe System, and a K&N Air Filter all wrapped together with a potent custom tune that gets it big power and flawless running. All the power gets transmitted through a McLeod Street Pro Clutch Kit to help hold the extra power. The suspension of our 2000 Mustang GT FauxBra build also got plenty of love to help the car get a decent stance and better times down at the local drag. The centerpiece of this car's suspension setup is its 19996 to 2004 Mustang UPR K-Member with Coilovers that gave it's front suspension a total overhaul all in one place. In the rear, the FauxBra has Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs.
This Pony also ended up with plenty of exterior styling components from both the aftermarket and Ford itself. The car is equipped with a beautiful set of legit 1999 to 2004 Roush 18x9" front and and 18x10" rear wheels that look absolutely stunning. The FauxBra also has a 2003 to 2004 SVT Cobra rear wing and 1999 to 2001 SVT Cobra taillights that round out its good looks.
