A BBK Performance Power-Plus Throttle Body is a must-have for anyone looking for some bolt-on performance for their ecoboost F150. BBK's throttle body is one of the best in the business and has found its way onto some of the toughest machines on the street, track, or trail. This version of BBK's Power Plus Throttle Body measures 73mm in diameter, a full 5mm larger than stock which allows a much larger volume of charge air to enter your intake manifold to help it produce much more horsepower and torque over stock. The much larger diameter also provides greatly improved throttle response to help get your truck off the line quicker and meaner. The BBK ecoboost 3.5l throttle body is extremely easy to install and bolts on right in place of your truck's stock throttle body with no cutting, drilling or other modifications.

2013 f150 ecoboost

Install was a piece of cake, only thing for future buyers is that the black harness keeping your electronics plug in does not just snap. Instead simply unscrew it from the throttle body and it will snap into the new easily. Other than that easy install easy instructions. I already have an afe stage two intake, live wire tuner, full race exhaust and now the throttle bottle.. I can feel a difference in the throttle response.. No difference in mpg that I noticed just more power when you need it.

2013 Ford F-150 Ecoboost

I knew I wanted this to be my next upgrade so when my stock throttle body but the dust I was more than happy to spend my money on this high quality, high performance throttle body. The only thing I reccommend for installation is to make sure to tighten your hose clamps very tight! With my 5 star tunes unlocking the power of the turbos I had so much air that the first couple times I test drove my EcoBeast the charge pipe blew right off the throttle body at about 20lbs of boost. I went back and tightened all of my clamps and it runs like a dream. You will have to have your tuner programmed for this mod. My truck was getting so much air with this throttle body that it was dumping tons of fuel in certain ranges. This BBK throttle body is altogether outstanding for performance and value. very satisfied. The 3.7 L engine seems to have quicker throttle response, gains rpm faster and seems to have gained 1 mile per gallon in fuel mileage around town driving.

2015 Ford F150 3.5 EB

Fairly straight forward install. Only issue was the intake pipe kept blowing off of the throttle body. I used a bit of lube in order to slide inlet tube onto TB which was likely the culprit. I cleaned it all back off with rubbing alcohol and reinstalled and so far so good. I can definitely tell a difference. I will now get a custom dyno tune.

Great bolt on performance upgrade, added 2mpg in the city and 1.4hwy. Smoother take off but still aggressive. I would recommend to anyone who has a lift and tires because it doesn't take a lot of pedaling to get the truck moving like it should with the extra flow.

2013 F150 Ecobeast

Great addition to my truck, I do however recommend this with a full race throttle body spacer if you have a boost gauge or BOV. This spacer is bigger than the throttle body and will not restrict airflow. Throttle response is amazing, can't wait to dyno this with all my mods.

2012 Ford F150

I ordered this yesterday at 1 pm and it arrived the next day as promised(I did pay for next day shipping)! I read reviews and I heard people saying it was easy and a couple saying that the electrical connection was tough. It was very easy! I timed it and it took me a total of 19 mins(I even dropped my sock ect under the truck)! The connector I see could be a problem if you are unfamiliar with this style. Pull the red tab towards the front of the truck, the wiggle and slide the connector off the TB( the connection slides over the TB port or it is the female end and the TB spot acts like a male, if that makes sense....) any ways, as far as performance, it runs great, can't tell if it revs faster, gave more horse power, or any of the claimed numbers yet! I'm going to put it on a Dyno and then run it at the track to see if I gained anything! If anything, it looks great under the hood! I would recommend this as I it fits beautiful and is definitely gonna let more air into the heart of your truck!

Super awesome price and product. Easy to install but I did have a defective hose clamp that kept blowing off, once replaced it runs like a champ. You can definitely feel the power at take off. Stage 3 Motorsports is the only place to purchase ford parts.

2013 platinum f150 ecoboost

Install may have taken 20 minutes including the removal of the old one and I have the afe charge pip installed which it fit nicely with. I also have the afe intercooler and hot/cold pipes installed along with the stage 2 cold air intake by afe as well. No programmer yet, that is the next step before adding anything else under the hood! The product fit perfectly. The initial throttle response from a stop is noticeable and improved! Super easy installation. Nice packaged and stage3motorsports got the part to me 1 week before estimated. Will be at the dyno soon. Added to the afe charge pipe also. Everyone says hard to install or can not install but had tore down and installed in less than 2 hours.

The throttle body is as advertised although I hear no xtra noise in idle or on the road,it was a simple task to install, maybe it took 40 minutes..as a matter of fact, every add on I've purchased from stage3. Perfect addition. Very noticeable change in MPG as well as HP. I paired this with the AIRAID SynthaFlow Cold Air Intake and the results were great. One note - The instruction tell you to reuse the old gasket; Don't. Spend the $10 and get a new one.

I installed this along with AFE cold air intake, AFE Bladerunner charge pipe and ATP intercooler. This was by far the easiest part of the install. Four bolts and a plug. It made it easier having all of the intake tubing off.

2014 Ford F-150 3.5 Ecoboost

First TB i received would not take no matter what i did, best i could figure was a bad egg. Received a new replacement and it worked like a charm! Love the increased throttle response! Be sure you upgrade your hose clamp though! First take off and separated instantly. Now I have a stronger clamp and all is good! Recommend this TB to anyone looking to increase you pedal response and get ya off the line a little quicker.

This is a must!! Made a huge difference in throttle response and HP. I had a hell of a time keeping the factory intake hose from blowing off with all the other mods and tuning that i have but after ordering the AFE Bladerunner intake tube haven't had a problem since other that being able to get full traction.

1 star. Waste of 450 dollars!! 0 what so ever gains, improvements, mpg -/+, easy install but totally waste of money. Even with a dyno tune. Very disappointed with this and the description of on this listing lies.

The truck does have 2 turbos, but they run into one intake path. You will only need 1 throttle body.

What are the differences between the BBK and the Jet performance throttle body’s beside the price?

The rubber inlet tube that connects to the throttle body on 2015 f-150 3.5 ecoboost is very tight and very tough to get on there. It popped off on test drive after install. Is there an aftermarket one that fits better or should I get T-Bolt clamps and tighten the hell out of it?
