A BBK Performance Power-Plus Throttle Body is a must-have for anyone looking for some bolt-on performance for their aggressive F150 rocking a big Triton 5.4L V8. BBK's throttle body is one of the best in the business and has found its way onto some of the toughest machines on the street, track, or trail. This version of BBK's Power Plus Throttle Body measures 80mm in diameter, a full 11mm larger than stock which allows a much larger volume of charge air to enter your intake manifold to help it produce much more horsepower and torque over stock. The much larger diameter also provides greatly improved throttle response to help get your truck off the line quicker and meaner. The BBK throttle body is extremely easy to install and bolts on right in place of your truck's stock throttle body with no cutting, drilling or other modifications.

Fairly easy installation for a person with no mechanical skills. Throttle response is better and added horsepower.

2008 Ford F150

Had a little trouble removing because of the wire connections not cooperating on the stock unit. Other than that though installation was a breeze and what a difference it made. I paired it with the S&B cleanable filter intake and the truck has a nice roar now.

2006 Ford F-150 Crew cab 4x4 XLT

This product works great, but increases the throttle response so it's a little touchy. My advice is to give the spring an extra turn to give it more tension for closing the butterfly, keep reading the code that the throttle was open so engine went into safe mood till I did that, now it works perfect. Another bit of advice is if you have a programmer fatten the mix, she seemed to run a little lean so maybe just my preference at 2.0 fuel. Amazing product.

Installed on 2006 FX4 5.4L with K&N CAI already in place, Edge HT tuner fried the actuator for the throttle body using the same K&N CAI tune that I used successfully before. I called Edge previously to verify that my tuner would suffice for the planned upgrade, they concurred but the burnt up actuator was the result, had to return to the factory default setting - just a warning so that you may save yourself the trouble. Otherwise the BBK unit is great, looks to be made of quality material, my only suggestion would be a better polished finish to the interior of the body and smoother gear operation.

I have run this item for about two weeks and I have had issues with a sticky throttle body almost every day I have took it apart a lubed it and cleaned it three times but it keeps sticking I might have to go back to stock
