The install was pretty straightforward and easy. These Rigid fog lights make the OEM fogs look obsolete.

Pros: Easy and quick install, fit and finish is excellent, light output is good, can run 4 cubes off the stock fog switch with extra harness, I am running the DOT fogs with the 2nd lights being the ambers and have no problems with them being to bright even though technically illegal. Cons: This kit is split shipped from a couple different locations. They forgot to include the H10 to Deutsch connector that comes stock with the kit. After a phone call and a couple emails I was still told I was wrong and did not need this part (because I ordered the h10 to Dual Deutsch harness to run all 4 off the stock switch). It took more convincing to finally get them to ship the part out to me. Of course a week later the wrong part was sent. After having to re explain everything the right part was finally received 3 weeks after my initial order. I still give this kit 4 stars for an excellent plug and play option.

2017 F150 Lariat

The lights and brackets are excellent quality. I have the DOT-legal D2s paired with white floods. DOT-legal lights are a definite upgrade from stock or from a simple LED bulb upgrade in the stock housings. The flood pattern lights are excellent as well. Installation was not overly difficult, but there were a couple of little things that were a real pain. 1. Nothing to do with the product, but be aware - stock fogs were difficult to remove. They just didn't want to fit through the opening in the bumper, but with a little muscle they came out. I did break a piece on one of them when removing it, so if you plan on keeping or selling them just be careful. 2. As others have said, the wiring comes up short. It's a petty thing to complain about, but in a $500 kit this is kind of ridiculous (hence the 4-stars instead of 5). Rigid needs to address this issue. Expect to do a little extra work on wiring if you buy this kit.

2015 Ford f150 Lariat

I received my order from 4 different places, everything came complete. It took me 4 hours and was a pain in the butt, wiring harness is to short for my vehicle luckily I received 2 harnesses and only needed 1 since I used there connector for the fog lights. so I was able to lengthen it. Look good and the Rigid fogs are 100% better than the factory lights, I also ordered the spots and the snap on amber lense and pointed them down so in heavy snow I run just my fogs and spots and it cut out a lot of the snow blindness that came from factory leds when driving at night.

2016 F-150 3.5 ecoboost FX4

Well, the video makes it look easier than it is. It's a pain to get the L bracket out without a ratcheting wrench.I usually take my time so it took about 4 hours for me. I got the Rigid fog light set with the Rigid floodlight set. Fog lights and the brackets came in one shipment and the floodlights came later in another. Wish the mounting brackets would have been more precisely machined so it didn't seem like the brackets were going everywhere while building the assembly. There are many ways to wire the lights, but at least a standard installation could have been shown in the installation video. It is pretty straight forward though. A set of wiring harnesses were sent with each set of lights so there is one extra. Start the wiring with the control knob like in the video. The wiring harness was too short for my application so I used some of my own wire to butt splice and extend the routing of the power wires to the battery. It was an afterthought, but I could have used the wiring from the extra wiring harness to extend the power wires to the battery. Overall, the light that is emitted from the Rigid LED's are awesome and the whole assembly seems very quality oriented. I would buy them again!

Product looks and works wonderful. A little tricky to get the old fog light housing out but once out it’s a breeze. Just make sure you put a good angle on the lights.

2017 F150 Screw FX4

Quality of the lights and mounts themselves is great. Like others said, the wiring run to the battery comes up a little short. I ended up splicing the wiring that came with the two kits together to Frankenstein a solution. Only other gripe is that adjusting the lights and tightening them down can be tricky due to limited space but I made it work. Also, this set ships in multiple packages so don’t be surprised if you only receive half the kit at first.

'15 F150

The light output from these pods (SAE Fogs and white Spots) is AMAZING, but this is a review for the whole kit, which unfortunately wasn't as good as the lights themselves. First issue was the wiring harness with the relay was too short to reach the battery on a 2.7 eco boost. Second issue was the H10 to Deutsch adapter was wired backwards... I felt this was ridiculous, luckily the pins weren't that hard to get out of the H10 connector. Third, the bracket construction is very average. I honestly feel like they aren't 100% symmetrical from one side to the other after aiming the lights installed on the truck. That being said shipping was fast and I received all the right parts and did I mention the light output... This is a great option if you want to upgrade your halogen set up without having to get new headlight housings and LEDs.

2016 F-150

These lights are great. They look really good and the install wasn't so bad. I had my buddy help as it was the first time I wired something from the batter to inside the cabin. I have the SAE fog lights on the outside and D2 Pro Floods on the inside with the yellow caps. I emailed in a question to Rigid and they suggested the fogs on the outside. The floods are very bright and I think are perfect for my needs. Also, the caps go on and fit fine as I saw at least one question about that.

Starkey Products does offer a Dual Deutsch Connector H10 Adapter Harness that can be used to hook four D-series lights into your fog light wiring. However, tying four lights into your fog wiring would make your fog light system no longer street legal. Still, it is possible to do, and if you'd like a setup with all four D-Series lights tied into your fogs, just give us a call directly and we'll put together a custom package.
