Powerful Whipple PCM Calibration
Whipple engineers have developed a unique PCM calibration that reconfigures all the necessary engine functions of your Mustang: including fuel, spark, knock detection, torque management, transmission control and electronic throttle control. The vehicles PCM constantly monitors the engines torque output while monitoring many different parameters to keep the engine in its ideal parameters. If a parameter falls below specification, the PCM will lower boost and torque output until the problem can be cured. That's the kind of technology and fine tuning that sets Whipple apart from competitors in giving you the kind of crushing power you crave while at the same time providing you with the safety to ensure your Mustang isn't pushed to dangerous limits. Whipples tuning comes on a Whipple Flare Flash Tool that allows you to quickly and easily upload Whipple's tuning to your Mustang's PCM.
Bolt-On Construction For An Easy Install
The heart and soul of the system is Whipple's twin-screw compressor which is by far the most advanced system available. With its high-quality bolt-on installation and OEM Quick Connect fittings, no major modifications are required for installation.
Multiple Options To Choose From
Besides all of the crushing power your Mustang's 5.0L V8 will generate, Whipple's Supercharger looks awesome in your engine bay and comes in a variety of colors and finish options to go along with your paint scheme or other custom parts.
Select your color or finish option using the drop-down menu above. Whipple offers you the choice of having your discharge drive in anodized black together with a white, yellow, blue or red body or two different polished finishes while the standard default option is black. The Whipple system also includes an option for either a closed air box that's 50-State Street Legal, or an Open-Air Element Intake System that gets you more power,
but is not currently CARB Approved. An option for a high-flow billet throttle body is also available for improved performance and throttle response. Lastly, please select which transmission is on your Mustang in order to receive the correct kit components.
