Forged Aluminum Calipers with Six Stainless Steel Pistons and Performance Pads

Wilwood's brake kit is built around its powerful Superlite 6R 6-Piston Calipers which are built tough enough to handle just about any application that you have in mind for your F150 build. The caliper bodies are made from high-quality and high-strength forged aluminum alloys and house six stainless steel pistons that provide massive levels of stopping power and bite. Despite their power, the calipers only wright 4.9lbs unloaded and dry so that you don't overly increase unpsrung weight when adding this powerful brake kit to your truck. The calipers come standard with Wilwood's SRS bridge plates which help to reduce NVH and pad noise and generate consistent braking. The kit comes standard with Wilwood's BP-20 performance brake pads that provide excellent bite and low levels of fade without being overly hard on the system's rotors. Large-Diameter Cast Iron Two-Piece Rotors with Slotted Friction Discs

The rotors in this kit feature a two-piece design and were carefully designed to reduce fade over stock while handling all of your F150's braking needs. The rotors measure 14.25" in diameter and feature a friction ring with a slotted surface bolted to a heavy-duty aluminum hat with stainless steel hardware. The separate ring save you time and money on complete rotor replacements, and its slotted surface helps clear away brake dust and other debris so that you get more consistent braking and performance. The rotors are internally vaned, which directs heat away from the rotor's friction surface to minimize fade. The sides and vaning of the rotor come standard with a black E-coat finish to help prevent corrosion.
