One of the most noticeable things missing from your aggressive 2013 to 2014 F150 FX2/ FX4 truck is a lower grille. In fact, there's nothing there at all but a gaping opening that doesn't do much for your truck or protect the intercooler on EcoBoost F150s or heat exchangers on V8 trucks with superchargers. Boost Bars came up with a novel solution to all your lower grille woes with this awesome OE-Style twin-bar lower grille kit. Each of these kits features two horizontal grille bars that look exactly like your F150 FX4's upper grille styling bars, giving your truck a much cleaner, yet custom look over stock.

Extremely Easy Installation

The FX4 lower grille kit is made from high-strength ABS plastic just like the upper grille, and mounts in the existing holes for a front license plate. The Boost Bars FX4 lower grille is extremely easy to install and assemble and does not require drilling or removing your factory bumper.

2011 Ford F-150

I chose the black because I wanted something that would blend in rather than stick out. My factory upper grille is chrome and I felt that if I chose the chrome lower grille it would be too much. With that being said the black textured grille filled that gap perfectly as if it came from the factory. Looks great and easy to install!

2013 Ford-150 FX4

If you are looking for that non painted factory grille look then this is the one you want. Installation was fast and easy, shiping was fast. The plastic quality is the same as the main factory grille but a very simple design which should honestly be cheaper than they sell it for. Overall this is a great product for the protection and look you are looking for in my opinion.

2014 F-150 STX

Install time: Quick and easy. Appearance: Like it, and it dresses up the front end, for sure. You realize after its on, how much improvement it made. Price: Too high, for a small piece of flimsy plastic. Glad I bought it, but still uneasy about the cost. Cons: It rattles in place. I can't hear it in the truck, but you can rattle it with your hand. (Makes me worry, it's gonna pop out, especially after a few car washes a year's time from now.)

Looks great ???? like the factory upper grill super easy to install only thing is the vertical bars look like I beams and a little hole in each one for apparently no reason. Would look a lot better if they were solid. But it really dose look so much better than the gapping hole ford left there

2014 STX Sport 4x4

Improves the look of the front by covering the huge gap. The only reason I did 4 stars is because of the insanely ridiculous price. I got mine on black Friday for $66. Also the vertical pieces should be solid instead of the I-beam look.

2014 F150 FX2 5.0

Very easy to install, actually took longer to remove the front license plate bracket. Doesn't match up exactly with the FX2 grill, but close enough, at least it covers the gapping black hole.

First of all, y'all have great customer service thus far that I have experienced. I appreciate you answering my questions on several products. I will buy from you guys when I make my decisions. I do have the 14 stx sport, slightly different grill than the fx packages. I think this boost bar would still look appropriate with my model, but just wanted to ask if there are, or will be any in the future that would match my grill more exact? Also, you don't sell the black ford emblems do you? Haven't seen them on your site.

This lower grille will actually be a good match, as it has a textured black finish. It's my understanding that newer FX4s could come with either a gloss or textured upper grille depending on paint color/exterior options. So, this grille would actually match your truck perfectly.
