Highlights:
Complete overhaul of your shocks and struts
2.25" diameter aluminum shock bodies
Can add up to 2" of front leveling
Gas-charged monotube internal design
Rear shocks with piggyback reservoir
Digressive linear piston with unique valving
Backed by a 3-year limited warranty
Will not fit 2021-2022 F150s with CCD System
Provides a Huge Improvement in Suspension Performance both On and Off-Road
The factory front strut assemblies and rear shocks of the 2015-2022 F150s really aren't all that great, and allow your truck to wallow through corners, jounce and bounce over the slightest bumps, and are totally inadequate for all but the most basic off-road applications. The Falcon Sport Tow/Haul Leveling Systems comes with new and improved front strut assemblies and rear shocks to help give your F150 a total overhaul in both handling and off-road performance. The Falcon Shocks are larger than stock, feature a gas-charged monotube internal design, and finely-tuned valving to deliver improved handling and stability both on-road and off. The front strut assemblies even feature adjustable ride height setting using a snap-ring system that can give you a 0" stock ride height, +1", or +2" worth of leveling so that you can reduce your F150's rake and squeeze on larger wheel and tire combinations. The rear shocks are specially-tuned for towing and hauling applications and feature a piggyback reservoir for extra oil capacity and fade resistance. The Falcon Sport Leveling System is perfect for giving your F150 the performance and handling it should've had from the factory, whether your truck is a dedicated street truck or sees a lot of off-road trails.
2.25" Diameter Shock Bodies with Digressive Piston and Specially-Tuned Valving
The Falcon shock assemblies were designed from the ground up to provide a vast improvement in suspension performance and fade resistance in a bolt-on, drop-in package. The Falcon shocks and strut assemblies are built around 2.25" diameter shock bodies made out of 6061-T6 billet aluminum. The large diameter of the shock bodies allows for a larger oil volume which works together with the aluminum construction to more adequately dissipate heat and reduce fade than the factory shocks or other steel-body shocks. The shocks feature a digressive linear piston that's paired with Zone Rate Tuning to handle violent impacts without overly effecting your F150's ride quality. The front and rear shocks feature a 3/4" induction hardened chrome shaft and hard anodized piston to provide excellent reliability. The rear piggyback shocks feature an adjustable lever on their reservoirs that lets you keep a clean ride when you're not hauling and gives you extra performance when towing or hauling medium or heavy loads. The rear shocks come standard with roost shields for extra protection and both the front rear shocks come with new and improved bump stops. The shock assemblies are all factory rebuildable and come backed by a 3-year limited warranty.
Fitment:
2015-2022 F150
Rear Shocks Maximum Ride Height:
according to Falcon, the rear shocks included in this kit can only handle up to an additional 1" of rear lift over stock.
Rear Reservoir Settings:
Falcon does not recommend using the rear shocks in their Tow/Haul modes while unladen, due to possible control and stability issues.
Will not fit F150s with CCD:
these coilovers will not fit or function on F150s with Ford's optional Continuous Control Damping (CCD) system. Please verify whether or not your F150 is equipped with CCD before ordering.

2016 Ford F-150 2wd
I purchased the sport tow/haul leveling kit for my 2016 2wd f-150, the install was very straight forward. The build quality is top of the line. The only thing I had to purchase additional was 4wd rear leaf spring blocks that were 1.5 in to even out the rear and get the correct stance. The ride quality is amazing. My truck rides so much better than it ever did stock. The ride is not floating like with stock shocks, you ride on rough terrain and the truck feels controlled and it does not beat you up. I would recommend this setup to anyone who is looking for a level stance with a great ride.

Build quality is fantastic. The rear shocks have great 3 setting functions that are quite noticeable. Iv been running this kit for close to a year and i use the truck for everything from highway towing and light off-roading. They don't eat washboard as well as id like but are miles better then factory. I feel they are a great price point between a real coilover like icon or king and the basic Bilstein 5100s. I do with i could get a similar adjustment knob and oil rez on the front. But I'm sure the price would increase if they did. BUT there is a problem. The rear shocks do not fit with a factory wheel offset. If you just drive around town and only tow you will be fine. BUT if you use you truck more then that you will run into problems when you flex the rear end. When going in and out of washes or anything that requires articulation your rear tires will rub on the adjustment knobs. Not just a little rub, its a lot of rub. I'm worried I'm going to brake the nobs off. I'm running 285/70/17 tire.

Meh. Left questioning the investment. Build quality on the product is very high and they look legit. Performance-wise, best way to describe is that they seem very similar to stock, but better. Difference between sport and tow/haul modes seems minimal. Maybe that means they perform exactly as intended? Several contacts with Falcon customer service have resulted in brief and largely unhelpful responses. I guess that I expecting more all-around for the money spent.

Just talking about the front falcon shock, how would it stack up against say a BOSS front coilover or icon 2.0/2.5 coil over with regards to highway and off roading? Ride quality and stability
Asked by:
Rico14
- 5/11/2019
The Boss 2.0s or Fox 2.0s have better all-around performance and handling both on and off-road, though I would argue that Falcons are a bit more comfortable on-road. ICON does not make a 2.0, but their 2.5s blow the Falcons out of the water off-road, but the ICON 2.5s do have that usual 2.5 stiffness that a lot of folks don't particularly care for on-road. If you're looking for a generalist ride quality and performance improvement, then the Falcon's aren't a bad bet.

Could I run the eibach's pro coils on the stock ride height setting?
Asked by:
Veat
- 10/30/2018
There's no reason why you couldn't. The only thing you'd have to be careful of is adding rear ride height to even out your ride, since TeraFlex only rates the rear shocks to handle 1" of rear lift.

I have a 2017 F150 Lariat SCREW FX4. I plan on towing a 7500lb travel trailer with it. With this type of load, should I expect the truck to remain level when using the Tow/Haul setting on these rear shocks or should I also invest in rear air bags to maintain a level stance while towing? I plan on setting the front shocks to 2" of front level.
Asked by:
ClaymoreJR
- 6/19/2019
That's really going to depend on how high you set the front strut assemblies and how much tongue weight you're putting on the hitch. If you're setting the fronts to their full 2" ride height, you might see a smidge of rear sag if you're loading a typical 10% tongue weight, even with the rear shocks set to their "Tow/Haul" setting. Unfortunately, you will not be able to use most rear air springs with this system, due to the included extended bump stops that are required for the rear shocks. You may want to consider a different shock setup if you're thinking about doing air springs at all.

I noticed there are 4 settings on the front shocks. How much lift do the "Leveled" and "Heavy Acc." settings each give?
Asked by:
Travis
- 5/6/2019
The "leveled" setting provides 2" of front ride height. The "Heavy Acc" setting supposedly keeps you at 2" of leveling when you have an aftermarket bumper with a winch, snow plow, kit, etc. However, I'm not sure how much ride height it would give you unloaded.

I have a 2017 f150 4x4, and currently have the Roadmaster active suspension component as i haul trailers around 10000lbs, which has helped allot, with that id like to replace the rear oem shocks to the Falcon tow'haul, the road master has given me ~1.5" of rear lift, how would that effect these shocks potentially?
Asked by:
Rico14
- 5/11/2019
You would not be able to use the Falcon rear shocks at all. Falcon/Teraflex only rates for 1" of additional rear ride height over stock.

How would these compare to the TRD Pro suspension on the Tundra?
Asked by:
Jacob Brabender
- 12/10/2019
Depends on the Tundra model year. If it's an older Tundra with Bilstein-based parts, then the Falcon Sport Kit will likely feel and perform better. If you're talking about a newer Tundra with the Fox-based TRD stuff, then the Falcons will likely not perform as well, though you still get the extra ride height benefit.

How is the ride quality on pavement with these vs the Bilstien 6112 (or even Elka 2.5)? Currently have the Eibach Pro Truck Stage 1 and it’s a bit too stiff/bouncy on the streets for my liking. I’m looking for some shocks that will deliver a smoother/softer ride on pavement while still being able to do some off road trails 4-5 times a year.
Asked by:
John M.
- 4/1/2021
We haven't tried the Tow/Haul System personally, though we did test out
the Sport System
on our
2018 F150 Budget Build Truck
. Personally, the Falcon Sport Kit arguably rode the smoothest on the street. However, I don't know if they're worth the price jump from the
Bilstein Stage 2 System
we offer. That being said, if you are looking for the absolute smoothest street ride, the Falcons are probably your best bet.

Fox 2.0 set/Stage 1 set vs the Bilstein 6112/5160 vs Boss setup; How do all of these stacks up and what would you overall recommend? Only want 2inches of lift/ Use my truck Monday through Friday for work travel / Some but not often towing / Every weekend friends and dog go exploring the North East outdoors with a little mudding / Overall recommendations thanks.
Asked by:
Raymond
- 8/7/2019
Some of your choice is going to depend on whether you're going to add any rear lift to your truck or just do 2" of front leveling. If you're looking at adding a 3" rear block or an add-a-leaf kit, then you're not going to be able to run either the Fox 2.0s or the Falcon System. If you are going off-road every weekend, then I'd probably recommend the Bilstein 6112/5160 setup, and I would strongly advise adding a UCA. Give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 for a possible package deal.

They performance more or less in a similar manner. Frankly, a Bilstein 6112/5160 would probably be the better bang for your buck.

2019 f150 145"wb s crew fx4 with max tow package. I want to raise the front 2.5" and add the roadmaster active rear suspension. For my 36' travel trailer. Is there a rear shock available that would work.
Asked by:
Jeremy
- 7/13/2020
As long as you're not adding ride height, nearly any rear shock will work for your application. The Falcons are purpose-built for towing, and can help you keep better control.

Asked by:
Chris
- 2/23/2021
We do not have a fitment confirmation of this kit on the 2021 F150s. From the looks of it, the 2021s are different enough that they will require new shock and strut part numbers. We'll hopefully know more here in the near future.

We do not have a fitment confirmation on the 2021 F150s, though we're hoping to get a confirmation or a new part number soon.

If leveled, how much squat with occur with a 4wheeler loaded in the back, around 800 pounds?
Asked by:
Jose
- 7/5/2021
We can't guarantee a specific amount. Any squat will be dependent on the condition of your leaf springs and other factors. You'll get more or less the same AMOUNT of squat as you currently do at stock ride height. From there, you can figure out your rake situation.

Do these fit the 21s also? Thanks!

According to Falcon, this kit only fits up to the 2020 F150 model year. We do not have an ETA on a new part number for the 2021 F150s.

Many things interchange with the 2021 f150 with the 2020 f150 such as the rouse coil overs. Will the falcon set up work on the 2021 model year? I do tow a travel trailer and really like the tow setting idea. Would another 2021 setup work better?
Asked by:

Falcon has not confirmed this kit to fit the 2021 F150s. While many components will bolt up, Ford actually did change the UCAs and the suspension geometry on the 2021 F150s, which causes some issues. Even with Roush's 2.0 coilovers, Roush requires you to lower the ride height setting for fitment on the 2021 F150s, and Fox themselves are likely coming out with an entirely new part number for the 2021 F150s. As far as setups that would also work, frankly, just about any aftermarket set of shocks and struts/coilovers would be an improvement over stock. Depending on what you're towing, you may want to add some sort of rear lift or rear load support on top of any suspension setup you choose (some of which, the Falcons can't handle). Your best bet would be to call us directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at

Will these work with a RWD?
Asked by:
Matt
- 1/2/2022
This kit will bolt up to an RWD F150. However, you'll get slightly more ride height out of the front strut assemblies than what they're rated for on the 4WD F150s. This could be a could or bad thing depending on what you're going for, but it is something to keep in mind.

Icon stage 1 or these falcon shocks? Which one would you recommend more? I do very little tow/hauling but nice to have a little help with needed and a little bit of off roading, but nothing serious. Mostly just want better driving/handling experience mostly onroad but also off road as well. I would also like the best quality setup. I heard with Ifon they have to be serviced at a minimum of every 40k miles and their warranty is only 1 year vs Falcons 3 year warranty.

If you're not doing a lot of either towing or aggressive off-roading, then you may just want to use the
Falcon Sport System
and save a few bucks, or even some sort of 2.0 coilover system (Fox, Elka, etc.). One thing to keep in mind with the ICON 2.5s, as awesome as they are off-road, they do make your street ride pretty stiff due to their spring and their valving. If you're not towing particularly heavy, then the "Tow" setting on this kit may be overkill for what you want. Somewhere in the middle seems like where you want to be. If not, give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at

so we can get more specific about what you need.

I would like to replace the stock rear block with a 2.5" block to maintain rake. But from what I have found, the stock block is 1.25" tall so that would net 1.25" of lift. Can these rear shocks handle that? The block I am looking at is the Eibach 2.5" that you sell. It's description page says that it nets 1" of lift but that doesn't add up.. I expect to get 1.25". Can you confirm if the rear falcons would be ok if I did end up netting 1.25" in the rear? I don't know of any 2.25" rear lift blocks on the market.
Asked by:
Jared
- 1/28/2022
The stock rear block can be either a 1.25" or 1.50" depending on submodel and options. The Falcon rear shocks work with up to 1" of additional rear lift, and should work just fine with a 2.50" rear block, especially on a truck that's primarily street-driven.

On Falcon’s website they list the max tire size as 285/70R17, but it looks like the blue truck in the pictures has larger tires on it. Were you able to run a wider tire with this kit? How much trimming was necessary? Thanks
Asked by:

- 2/7/2022
Our blue 2018 Budget Build truck had
BFG KM3 33x12.50" tires
on
ICON 17x8.5" Compression Wheels with 6mm offsets
. We were able to run this wheel and tire combination without trimming with the Falcons on their highest setting. Falcon's tire size recommendations are pretty conservative, but a lot of tire fitment depends on what wheel you're using, specifically its width, offset, and backspacing. If you want to get more specific, give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at
